Sunday Post #75: New Hobby?

Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week! Let's get started!

This week I didn't do much besides reading (yay!) I mean, I'm still binge watching Criminal Minds, listening to Fall Out Boy, playing Minion Rush (love this game!), nothing new, really. I did, however, decide that I wanted to take up hand lettering! Now, I have no artistic ability whatsoever, but I thought hand lettering would be fun and hopefully easy! I even made a couple of worksheets with different fonts to help me get started :)

Hallelujah- Panic! At the Disco
No, I did not write this awesome lyric (this is from Panic! at the Disco's Hallelujah, by the way),
just an example of something I'd like to accomplish one day :)

I've seen Ink around for a while, but I never really took the time to find out what it was about until recently. Set in Japan with mythology?? Yes, please!

How was your guys' week? Did you guys get some awesome bookish things this week? Let me know in the comments below or leave me a link to your post!

  1. I hope you enjoy all of your new books! I really like the idea of hand lettering. People make the BEST signs. :)

    1. Right? The hand lettering signs I've seen are gorgeous!

  2. Ooo great haul! Hope you enjoy them :D And hand lettering sounds so cool–I’m so jealous when I can see people write beautifully (quotes, lyrics, etc.). Have a great week! :)

    1. Yeah! I'm excited to get started! :D
