The Dreaded Reading Slump... We've all been there (and if not, how awesome of you! I'm seriously jealous). Some of us have had them more often than others, some of us longer than others, but all us booknerds are familiar with that awful feeling. The inability to read. You want to read, but the mood just isn't there. It's the worst feeling a booknerd can experience (besides our books being harmed... Now that's just unacceptable!)!

WARNING: Creepy pictures ahead!
With each book that comes out, this series just keeps getting better and better! This book was one of the best, if not the best, horror book I have ever read!

I'll pretty much read anything Megan Miranda writes. Ever since I read Hysteria, I decided that I loved her writing, and that I'd probably read anything she wrote. Soulprint just had such an interesting concept! I mean, being able to trace souls as they are reborn? How cool is that? However, the method of keeping track of all the souls, I'll admit, is quite questionable... with a lumbar puncture, you get the "fingerprint" from the spinal fluid? I don't know about that, but what I do know is how much I loved the concept! The soul is just something that has always intrigued us, and I just thought this was very cool.

Meet the new (and totally evil!) girl Savannah. She and Mick do not get a long at ALL, so Mick devises a plot to send her back where she came from. I'm talking fake lice and psychotic robots who want to shoot your face clear off with a freakin' laser... the whole enchilada! So now it's up to Mick to stop the new girl and the killer robot army before things get from worse to worse than worse, if you get what I'm saying.

Last week I got my book order from Book Outlet, so today I thought I'd talk a little more about where I usually get my books, considering I've been on said site quite a lot recently. I'll also be talking a little about something called Swagbucks. I know I've mentioned it before, but I'll go a little more in depth in this post. And if you love Amazon gift cards, definitely stick around for that!

I decided to join the 2015 Book Blog Discussion Challenge, which is hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight! I meant to post this a while ago, and then I didn't, and then I forgot... ooops! But basically this challenges you to write more discussion posts in 2015! And I love discussion posts (both reading them and writing them!) so I thought this challenge would be perfect!

The Demigod Files is such a fun book! Not only does it have fun interviews with the hilarious Stoll brothers (on pulling pranks), Annabeth (on Percy Jackson, hehehe), Grover, and, of course, Percy Jackson himself, but it also has a map of Camp Half-Blood, a crossword puzzle, word search, and my favorite: short stories!

After her mother dies, Delaney is forced to move across the country to live with her father, a quite famous life-coach she barely knows. Little does Delaney know that her father is hiding a big secret: he is a freaking Fairy Godmother (Godfather?)! At first Delaney doesn't believe him, but she soon realizes it is all true and that the F.G. gene may or may not have been passed on to her and then BAM! She gets her first case: Flynn, a classmate from her new school. Using her F.G. magic, she helps Flynn get the girl he is crushing on by granting his wishes in hopes that completing her first case will upgrade her status to a full fledged Fairy Godmother and finally get her wand. But no one said wish-granting would be easy...

Now updated! [Last posted: Nov. 2012]
Hey guys! So, I've been getting lots of compliments and how-to questions about these cute little monster bookmarks, so I decided to write up this tutorial post! I have to warn you, I am artistically challenged and am more than a bit surprised that I actually passed art in high school, lol. So if I can make these, then anyone can!
