Monthly Wrap-Up: April 2020

Hope you guys had a better April! For me it's still not great BUT I am doing so much better mental health-wise. I think I'm finally getting used to the world we have to live in right now. I think I'm just refusing to believe that we are pretty much living in what's almost a dystopian world straight from a novel. But things will get better for us!

This past week was my first week working night shift, and omg it's HARD! I feel like I'm sleep deprived all the time! Hopefully I'll get a good schedule down pretty soon here.

I also finally got out of my reading slump and started writing reviews again! Yay!

Finish the Series #7: The Dreaded Reading Slump

In the past I've done these Random Reads posts where I would randomly choose a series to finish, but that hasn't worked out that well for me, me being a mood reader and all. So I decided that I would just pick a couple of series I'm in the mood for every so often and then post about it to really cement in that commitment 😅

You all know how much I love Fear Street, so I absolutely loved having these new books in my life. I really enjoyed the first two books in this new series, but this one... it was just okay 🤷‍♀️

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #191: Long Time No See

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at Book Date and Unleashing Reads.

Why, hello there. I haven't done one of these in a hot minute. But there was honestly no point because I wasn't doing any reading... at all. Last week however, I started using the app Bookly which I set to remind me to read every night.

So for a couple of days, I read at least one chapter before bed, but then yesterday morning I woke up with the urge to finish the book I was reading... and I did! 🙌
