Synopsis:

Olivia Black is back.

Only this time she's not the one in need of rescue.

Samantha James, rich, popular, and an award-winning composer at age seventeen, is the next target on the CAMFers' list. In order to convince Samantha to come with them, Olivia and Passion must pose as cousins, blend into the most affluent high school in Indianapolis, and infiltrate a mysterious cult known as The Hold.

Olivia doesn't expect it to be easy, even with the PSS guys backing them up. But what she discovers over the course of the mission will call into question everything she ever believed about herself, her family, and especially about Marcus, the guy she is undoubtedly falling in love with.

My rating: ★★★★☆

So, in Ghost Hold, Olivia and the rest of the crew head out to rescue the next person on the CAMFERs list, and holy shi- *ahem* ;) Ripley really played with my feels in this one! I still cannot get over that ending! I don't know what to think anymore!

Seriously this book had me crying (um, a lot), laughing, swooning, and everything in between. I really do like a book with so much emotion.

There were also lots and lots of twists and turns and shocking secrets unveiled. I love twists and being surprised... Usually. That one at the end though? I'm still in shock.

We also met some new characters with interesting PSS and powers. Plus we got to know some of the characters we're already familiar a lot better! The enigma that is Passion, for example, is one of those characters. We get to know her so much more in depth and I could not believe all the things she's been keeping to herself! So crazy! And I wish I could tell you, but you know, spoilers ;) Jason is one that surprised me, because I actually ended up really liking him.

And then we have Marcus and Olivia who make such a fantastic couple. Olivia I think is a great character, who's had to deal with a lot of tough things. I really hope she'll have the strength to get out of the latest betrayal. And Marcus, swoon-worthy Marcus, I don't know how to explain him to you. I have this love-hate relationship with him because he is just so sweet but such a chronic liar!

One thing, however, I had troubles keeping track of other character we met in the last book. I had to stop and think "Okay, who is this guy and what is this they're talking about?" I read the last book a while ago so I could not remember some of the details mentioned in this sequel. But, overall, I thought this was a fantastic read with a great plot!

It was a suspenseful, action-packed sequel with many secrets, steamy romance and a betrayal that will leave you reeling with shock. This series is a must-read for anyone looking for something a little different and heart-wrenching.

Also, I need the next book now! That ending... Ripley, you are killing me here! Oh, my feels!

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
