2025 Summer Library Program

One thing I look forward to every summer is our library's Summer Program. I've been participating in it for like 6 years now, I think? I'm always terrible at it, but I find it fun nonetheless. Lol. This year, the program goes from June 6th to August 15th.

Here is the book bingo for this year. There are unfortunately a lot less prompts this year than there have been in previous years, but maybe that means I'll do better this time 😂

And this is what my bingo card is looking like:

I've already got two squares done! One thing I enjoy about the book bingo is that it always includes community prompts or prompts that encourage learning. This is how I found out that you could use Rosetta Stone for free through the library, which is how my journey learning Japanese began. There is a prompt that says to use Mango to learn a new word or phrase. I have no idea what Mango is, but if it helps my Japanese, I'll be happy. Lol.

Anyway, we will see how we do this year. Lol. And this is your friendly reminder to use your library if you are able to, because they have a lot of cool, unexpected resources and, of course, lots of free books for you to read!

  1. That's awesome that they give you a Bingo card like that! Our summer reading program at the public library for adults is just reading for so many days in the summer and then we do get a cool glass. So I got started too!

    1. Oooh I actually really like that. And while I love the bingo, I know there are some prompts I'm not going to do. Like, I don't read newspapers or magazines 😂 But I might because of this 👀 Who knows (I know and I probably wont do it lol)
