It's time to check out how I did on my challenges and honestly, I have a feeling I did horribly 😅 I did not have a great reading year, and I think it's about to show. Lol.
Progress:45/52 (87%). This one should've been easy too, but I missed 7 weeks 🥲 The reading slump was real this year 😪

The challenge: To read one book that has a title starting with every letter of the alphabet.
Progress:20/26 (77%). I'm not surprised about this one. I have never completed it.
Challenge complete: ❌
The challenge: To read one book that has an author whose first name, middle, or last name starts with every letter of the alphabet.
Progress:19/26 (73%). Same with this one. But I came pretty close with both.
Challenge complete: ❌
The challenge: Read 36 books owned before January 1, 2025.
Progress:12/36 (33%). I have not completed this one in years, so this year I went down a level and hopefully that will help. Lol.

The challenge: Read 10 Netgalley/Edelweiss books.
Progress:4/10 (40%). Another one I haven't completed in a while. This year, I am determined to actually try and complete these challenges! Lol.

The challenge: Finish/catch up on series. The series can already be completed and is still ongoing. The ongoing series aims to catch up to the most recent book published by the end of 2025.
Progress:11/9 (122%). So technically I did complete this one, but I only ended up finishing 3 series! Only 3! ðŸ˜

The challenge:Each badge represents a certain type of book or element in a story. It’s up to you how you take on the challenge. A book doesn’t have to be pure fantasy or Sci-fi; horror and historical fiction count too if you can make them fit The only rule: one book can only earn you one badge, so choose wisely and complete your collection!
Progress:21/25 (84%). I was so close to completing this bingo board!

The challenge: To read 25 different books that fit each of the 25 prompts on the book bingo.
Progress:25/25 (100%). But I did complete this one, and I'm honestly surprised! 😅

The challenge: To read 12 different books (1 per month) that fit each of the 12 prompts.
Progress:12/12 (100%). And I completed this one too! Very excited about that!

The challenge: Enter and complete reading challenges.
Progress:4/6 (66%). And because I didn't finish a bunch of challenges, that means I didn't complete this one either ðŸ˜

The challenge: Write 41+ discussion posts
Progress:36/41 (88%). And I'm usually really good about writing a bunch of discussion posts, but this year was just rough, man 😪

I completed 5/12 (22%) total challenges, and I think that is a complete fail 😅 My intention for 2026 is to actually try and complete the challenges I signed up for, so wish me luck. Lol.
