Synopsis:

Casey Donovan has issues: hair, height and uncontrollable trips to the 19th century! And now this—she’s accidentally taken Nate Mackenzie, the cutest boy in the school, back in time. Awkward.

Protocol pressures her to tell their 1860 hosts that he is her brother and when Casey finds she has a handsome, wealthy (and unwanted) suitor, something changes in Nate. Are those romantic sparks or is it just “brotherly” protectiveness?

When they return to the present, things go back to the way they were before: Casey parked on the bottom of the rung of the social ladder and Nate perched high on the very the top. Except this time her heart is broken. Plus, her best friend is mad, her parents are split up, and her younger brother gets escorted home by the police. The only thing that could make life worse is if, by some strange twist of fate, she took Nate back to the past again.

Which of course, she does.

My rating: ★★★★★

I absolutely LOVED this book! It was just so adorable and exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump!

Casey time traveling to the 19th century is nothing new. It's been happening to her for a while now. But that all changes when she accidentally travels back in time with a hottie from school! As you can imagine, Nate is not too happy about this. But there's nothing they can do about it, really. So, because Casey's traveling tendencies are as random as can be, there's no knowing when she'll time travel again.

During this time in the past, Casey and Nate spend lots of time together (obviously) and he becomes very protective of her when a suitor approaches her. And let me tell you, it was SO cute! To tell you the truth, he wasn't the nicest guy to be around, taken the situation they were in, but as they spent more time together he was just very sweet, protective, and awesome!

Casey was a very fun character--very sassy and overall likable.

The story was fantastic! It kept me interested all the way through. I haven't read too many books about time travel, so I found the concept really interesting. There was this twist at the end that I actually saw coming, but it was such a great twist! This whole thing with Sam was just really cool! And the girl Casey met at the store? Oh my gods! I want to know more!

This book was such a great! It had a great story line, awesome characters, and a twist at the end some of you might not see coming ;) I can't wait to read the rest of series!
