Synopsis:
Tania is having the best year of her life. She has a hot new boyfriend, she landed the starring role in a student film, and she's just been voted homecoming queen. But someone is jealous of Tania. Someone plans to ruin her perfect year--even if Tania must be killed. Will Tania live to see the homecoming dance?
And the new queen is... dead!
Tania has just been voted Homecoming Queen and is having the time of her life! Now her friend Keith has asked her to star in his movie Who Killed the Homecoming Queen? because who else would be perfect in the role? But not all things are lollipops and candy canes for this Homecoming Queen. (Hold on, I got a Supernatural gif for that ;) hehe)
Oh no. Someone is out to make this film reality. Someone is out to kill Tania! Dun, dun, DUN!
Who Killed the Homecoming Queen? had a couple of good plot twists, which is what I always love about these Fear Street books. Just... Tania and someone out to kill her and the eerie connection to the film and OMG is she actually dead?? What’s going on?! Yeah, that was pretty awesome! I did, however, figure out ahead of time the main plot twist at the end of who was out to kill her. But overall it was well done and I enjoyed it!
Also, I don’t know if the ending, like, the very last page or two, was meant to be a shocking, unbelievable “OMG now what are they going to do?” moment, but I laughed SO hard!
Was it meant to be funny? I have no idea but I thought it was pretty hilarious... not in a bad way though! I do wonder what happened though, and if everything turned out okay in the end, but...
The Fear Street connection: Oddly enough, Fear Street isn't even mentioned in this one... well, not that I saw, anyway. So my guess is one of the kids lives on Fear Street. But IDK...
