Just another week of work. But let me tell you, yesterday was WILD. It was early in the morning when we got this urgent knock on our door. It was our neighbor letting us know that our other neighbor's house, the one behind our house on the other side of the fence, was on FIRE! It was SO scary! Luckily, we have a fire station very nearby, it's like a minute away, so it was put out relatively fast. But it was a little touch and go there for a moment because it looked like the fire could jump the fence at any moment. But no one was hurt, and most of the other houses (including ours) remained relatively unscathed. There was one house, the closest to the house on fire, where their window blew out from the heat, but I think that was the extent of the damage, thankfully.
In other news, my mom crocheted me this bag! It's SO cute! My mom loves to crochet, and lately, it's been bags. Lol. She's been making some for everyone. Lol. I requested mine be big enough to fit a book 😆
Also, yesterday in the evening while I was reading, I found this in my library book!
I'm taking that as a good omen 😌
This week, I watched a lot of House. Lol. I'm actually liking these later seasons so much more than the earlier ones.
No new Unlike Pluto song this week, but I have been listening to a lot of Fall Out Boy lately and honestly, they make me so happy 😌 They are just a very comforting artist for me, and right now I'm seeking comfort wherever I can find it. Lol. I've been thinking about listening to their albums in chronological order just for fun. I might do that today as I read.
Friday, I played a little bit of my Legacy challenge, and honestly, looking back, I think it was an omen because THIS happened:
😭 Fires are not uncommon in this game, but the fact that I could not put out this fire was weird!
And then their kid randomly caught on fire, too!! She wasn't even in the same room as the fire, so tell me how this happened! 😭
The fire spread and the firemen just stood there doing nothing, and then they had the audacity...
Bro, you guys did NOTHING! The fire stopped on its own, and weirdly, no damage was done to the kitchen, so at least there's that. But the bad news didn't stop there.
Bria is my previous heir and my current heir's mother 😭 However, this was very weird because I got this pop-up no less than 6 times while my Sim was out traveling. Probably a bug. But then, as soon as he gets back home, his mom shows up and just DIES right there on the front steps 😭
She died of old age, but it's always sad when an heir dies 😭 Next time I play, I'll probably have a funeral for her.
Earlier in the week I also played some more of Power Wash Simulator...
And Preserve. Two very relaxing games 😌
While I paint my nails pretty much every week, I don't think I have done any nail art at ALL so far this year, so it was nice to finally get back into it, even if it was just a simple gradient on two nails. Lol.

Wow! That fire was scary! It reminds me when the house across the street from me caught on fire. Love the firemen in the Sims game, lol. So even though it told you the Sim had died, you still saw it happened when you went to that house? Interesting! That crocheted bag is so neat! And your nails look good too. I need to get pedicure and probably a manicure too. Hope you have a good week!
