So work with the new patient went really good, despite my anxieties. The one thing I don't like is the schedule. I basically work from 8am to 5:30pm, but I have this giant 2.5-hour break in the middle that I do not like. I go home and have lunch and try really hard to not fall asleep. Lol. It is difficult trying to go back to work in the afternoon. Lol. And I still haven't had an update about my other patient, so that's still terrible. The world is still a dumpster fire and I can't stop doomscrolling. Though I did end up going to a protest one day this week with my new patient's family, so I felt very good that day. Lol. Yesterday there was a library book sale, which I always go to every year, but I didn't this year because I was in bed all day feeling like my uterus was trying to turn itself inside out ðŸ˜
Suffice to say, I am exhausted these days in more ways than one 🙃 Lol. Still not sure when regularly scheduled posts will return, but for now, these Sunday and Monday posts are easy to do.
I'm still rotating between watching House and rewatching Bones. Still having a good time. Lol. Oh, the new Daredevil show just came out and I NEED to watch it! One of these days hopefully.

Because my schedule has been so weird this week, I feel like I don't have a lot of time to do much of anything in the evenings anymore so I haven't been playing as much, especially considering that a new expansion pack for the Sims just came out! The few screenshots I have below are all from a 2-hour session yesterday when I felt like my uterus wasn't trying to kill me. It didn't last long, unfortunately ðŸ˜
So I finally finished the newest Rewards Event, married Emit, and got him to move in before he disappeared forever. Lol. Overall, it was a fun event, but the way it ended with Emit disappearing was lackluster. Luckily I got him to move in before he did that. Lol.
As for my Super Sim, I am SO close to finishing all the teen things I need to do with her. I have found that the most difficult things to do are the after-school activities and having her level up because they're only three days a week. Anyway, above you'll see her practicing football with her uncle! It was SO cute, especially because they did this autonomously 🥲 The hug was also autonomous 🥹
And then her OTHER uncle went on a date with Nalani, who is one of my favorite townies, so I quickly hopped into his household to have her move in because I thought it would be super cute if they ended up being a couple. He's a spellcaster and she's a mermaid!

Got a nonfiction book from the library and also...
These! I am SO excited! The Ragpicker King just came out last week, so I'm excited to read it. And I requested Project Hail Mary from the library MONTHS ago and I just got it! I'm hoping to read these this week, but with my mood being the way it's been lately who knows if I'll actually get to them.
