Synopsis:

In this exciting collection, bestselling authors Meg Cabot ("How to Be Popular"), Kim Harrison ("A Fistful of Charms"), Michele Jaffe ("Bad Kitty"), Stephenie Meyer ("Twilight"), and Lauren Myracle ("ttyl") take bad prom nights to a whole new level--a paranormally bad level. Wardrobe malfunctions and two left feet don't hold a candle to discovering your date is the Grim Reaper--and he isn't here to tell you how hot you look.

From angels fighting demons to a creepy take on getting what you wish for, these five stories will entertain better than any DJ in a bad tux. No corsage or limo rental necessary. Just good, scary fun.

My rating: ★★★★☆

I picked up this book because I noticed that one of my favorite authors who wrote one of my favorite series (Stephanie Meyer, Twilight) was involved. Plus, it was supposed to be a horror novel... so i immediately gave it a shot. And i don't regret it! Not only was her story great, but the other 4 authors did a fantastic job as well. I've never heard of them, but i am willing to give their other pieces of work a shot as well.

In this book contains 5 short stories about prom... gone wrong.

1.) Slaying vampires at prom.
2.) A killer corsage... be careful what you wish for.
3.) From a boring prom to death with all sorts of grim reapers.
4.) A superhuman girl fighting crime to save a gril who is more than just a little girl whose hormones are kicking in.
5.) And everything that can possibly go wrong in prom does... but it only backfires on the demon who is causing all this misery.

This caught my attention because I'm the type of girl who instead of going to prom, would just stay home (and that's exactly what I did :D). I thought it would be cool to see how bad things could get at prom... and boy were things horrible! lol

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)

  1. I read this book in less then a day it was very addictive and I love the seperate but all so similarly themed stories. My favorites were the Exterminators daughter and Hell on Earth. Very enjoyable and all well written.
