Synopsis:
She doesn't see dead people. She senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.
Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about her need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who'll be next.
This book has a perfect combination of suspense, tons of mystery, and romance, of course ;) and I do not regret reading this book, it was great!
After I read the prequel (My Soul to Lose) it left me wanting for more. I had so many unanswered question that were finally answered in this book. For example, why can Kaylee predict when someone is about to die? Because she's a...haha not telling, evil me :P
Anyway, it seems like the only person who can help her, since her entire family lied to her (great, huh?), is Nash- a total hottie that goes to her school. *Sighs* Lucky her...well, except for the part where girls in her town are dropping dead (literally). And if she happens to be around them when its about to happen, she screams at the top of her lungs (Yep, that's her way of predicting). Its something she cant help.
So with the help of her now-boyfriend Nash, and Tod, a reaper and Nash's "friend" (If you read the book you'll see why I put quotations around friend. Evil me not telling you again, hehe), she tries to find out why these girls are dying out of nowhere. But what she doesnt expect is that by doing this she will put herself, as well as those around her, in danger. And trust me, the twist at the end you will NOT see coming... well at least I didnt.
Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
