Synopsis:

Rewind to junior year in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, to a winter break no one has ever heard about....

Fat snowflakes fall onto manicured lawns, quilted stockings hang over marble fireplaces, and everyone is at peace, especially Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer. Now that Alison’s murderer is in jail and A is dead, they can finally relax. Little do they know there’s a new A in town. . . .

Rule number one of being an effective stalker: Get to know your prey. So I watch these liars day and night, keeping an eye on the trouble they get into, the messes they make, and the secrets they keep. Hanna’s desperate for a very personal session with her gym trainer. Emily is number one on Santa’s naughty list. Aria’s old flame from Iceland is about to land her in hot water. And Spencer’s resorting to some backhanded tactics to get what she wants.

What happens on holiday break stays on holiday break—right? But guess what. I saw. And now I’m telling.

Taking place between "Unbelievable" and "Wicked," "Pretty Little Secrets" is a very special "Pretty Little Liars" tale revealing the liars’ never-before-seen misadventures over their junior-year winter break.
My rating: ★★★★★

This book was awesome! There. I just had to get that out of the way ;)

I really liked how the book was divided into four parts; each girl had her own section, and that section was only about that particular Liar.

Hanna's story, I thought, was very amusing. Her BF leaves her to go on vacay, and she feels all alone, especially since her dad, stepmother, and Kate move into her house. She meets this cute guy who she may or may not be falling for, and, lets just say that Hanna isn't the only one drooling over this dude. Oh, and Kate is a total witch! Can't believe Hanna has to put up with her!

I really liked Emily's story too. There have been pranksters in Rosewood causing havoc in the town. And somehow Emily winds up trying to catch these "Merry Elves" in the act to finally stop all the holiday disasters. How is she going to do this? you ask. Easy: by befriending them, duh.

Oh my gods, Aria's story was....crazy! Seriously crazy and shocking! That is the only way I can describe it. Aria's was supposed to spend the holidays with her dad and brother, but something totally uncool changed things. Upon arriving home, Aria gets an unexpected visit from her ex-BF from Iceland. And from there things get crazy! I wish I could say, but I don't want to spoil things! Let's just say it involves panthers, weddings, and delinquents! You seriously have got to read this one!

Spencer goes on vacation with her family to Florida. Here she meet a really cute guy, he seems to be interested in her. But, again, she might not be the only one. Oddly enough, Melissa helps Spencer get the guy! Oh, the things they do when they work together...that revenge they pulled off at the end, for example. Oh my gods, it was hilarious!

This book was seriously awesome, and totally creepy...you know, because of A. Throughout the whole book I kept wondering if A was the same A we discovered on the show in this summer season finally. If it is, then it makes no sense at all!

But anyway, I cannot wait for more of this series...both the books AND the show!

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
