Synopsis:
The time has come. Allison's quest to save her mother from Aoife's wicked enchantment will test everything she believes in. Who is trustworthy in the land of the Fair Folk, the Tuatha de Danaan? It's up to Allison, along with her ragtag host of allies, to unravel the truth.
Journey along and discover the power of love and duty as Allison faces the most difficult trial of her life.
Allison still can't believe what happened to her father when they went to fight Aoife. What Allison doesn't know is that the fight isn't over, and this time it means succumbing to Aoife and not helping her mother,or beating her. For good.
I'll tell you why it took me a while to get to this book: I just didn't want the series to end! It was SO good! The Irish mythology with the fairies and magic, the wonderful world and amazing characters, and my favorite, the ROMANCE! The sexual tension between Allison and Ethan was insane, and I just kept wanting more! Ethan was just so sweet and protective and yeah, a little cocky, but he was so swoon-worthy you just can't help but love him and ship him and Allison. *sigh* I'm going to miss him :(
I thought the ending to this series was pretty satisfactory. I will admit though, the final showdown against Aoife was rather anticlimactic, for my taste =/ Instead of the epic, magical battle I was expecting, words were spoken and things just kinda got... Fixed. I didn't think Aoife would've given in so easily, considering the evil villainess she's been this whole time, but I suppose it was for the best.
But don't get me wrong! Although I was expecting more out of the ending, I absolutely loved the series and how nicely it wrapped up, especially with Allison's mom! It was really great and it's a series I highly recommend!

Irish mythology! I think this trilogy would be ideal for me to finally start reading for the mythology challenge! =D
