Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week! Let's get started!
So, I wouldn't say I'm a big anime watcher, and by that I mean I've only ever seen Dragon Ball (the original, Z, and GT) before this. But this just sounded SO amazing I could not pass it up! Besides, it's on freaking Netflix!! YES!
So, Death Note is about this high schooler who finds this notebook where you can write peoples names and then those people will die! How awesome is that (I'm morbid, I know ;) lol)? And this notebook originates from the Japanese death gods known as Shinigami. (Mythology, of course.)
This show is super twisted and dark. At first, I was very into what Light (the MC) was doing with the notebook, but gods, he really fell off the deep end. And then... actually, I'm not gonna say more 'casue you really need to see this! Or read the manga! ;)
Anyway, I highly recommend if you're into this morbid/death sort of stuff. It's such a great story! I'm about 10 episodes away from the end (sadly it's only 37 episodes long *sobs*) and I don't want it to end and I'm also kind of worried *bites nails*
But yeah, that's my new obsession :)
Online
Greek mythology, YES! Thanks so much Captured Press!

Guys, I want to talk to you guys about a little something called My Book Cave 'cause this is where I've been finding all these amazing Freebies! Basically, everyday (or however often you's like) you get an email from My Book Cave with a list of Free and Discounted books. But here's is what is awesome about it: the books are tailored to you and what you like! You get to select what retail stores you buy your books, be it Amazon, B & N, and even Smashwords! You also get to pick what books you want to see in your inbox regarding genre and the level of steaminess or goriness you like in your books! It is just great! I am not describing it as best I could, but I highly recommend you at least check it out! Everything is basically tailored to you and what you want! And that is what I really, REALLY love about it!
I've heard good things about the manga Death Note, but I haven't read any of them. I might have to try out the anime though. I've never watched any!
