So today I have a little bit of a different post. Since it's October, and therefore spooky season, I thought this would be the perfect time to talk about my Fear Street obsession! As if you haven't noticed already with all the Fear Street books I've been reviewing lately. LOL.
This all started when I was in middle school and I found these books in the school's library. I don't remember which was the first one I ever read, but I am pretty sure it was either The Prom Queen or The Thrill Club. Either way, I remember loving all the books I read in the series! So last year I set out to get my hands on all the Fear Street books I possibly could! Now, as a bookworm, I have a ton of books in general. But my Fear Street collection is insanely huge and I thought I'd share it with you guys... if you care. Lol.
First up is my Collector's Editions! Well, except for that one at the end, that's just a regular ol' omnibus. Lol. I own 15/15 of the Collector's Editions! It actually didn't take me long to collect them all. Maybe a year. But there were three in particular that were really hard to find: the Cheerleaders Collector's Edition, the Fear Street Saga Collector's Edition, and the Silent Night Collector's Edition. I can't remember which, but one of them was selling for a ridiculous amount of money, like $50+ or something. I know they're hard to find, but damn! So I just kept my eye on it and slowly the price went down and down until it came down to a reasonable price. All of the Fear Street books you will see today I got for $5 or less. The only exception were the following Collector's Editions that were just super rare:
Lessons in Terror: $6.08
Nightmares: $7.56
Cheerleaders: $11.86
And here are the rest of the Fear Street books! Broken down by series, these are all of the ones I currently own:
The original Fear Street books: 51/51
New Fear Street: 4/4
Fear Street Super Chillers: 13/13
Cheerleaders trilogy: 3/3
Fear Street Saga trilogy: 3/3
99 Fear Street: The House of Evil: 3/3
Cataluna Chronicles: 3/3
Fear Park: 3/3
Fear Street Sagas: 4/16
Fear Street Seniors: 0/12
Fear Street Nights: 3/3
Ghosts of Fear Street: 0/36
Fear Street Relaunch: 6/6 (eARCs)
I own 90 Fear Street books and I had 6 eARCs of the new books (I have since deleted them... I do this with all eARCs I get). I probably wont ever get any of the Ghosts of Fear Street books simply because they're MG and similar to Goosebumps, which I actually never got into as a kid, unfortunately. So excluding those, I have 24 books left to buy!
These are my doubles. These are the ones I had before I bought all the Collector's Editions. (I'm giving away some of these below!)
And these are all my non-Fear Street R.L. Stine books.
Yep. That's it. Lol.
I guess I should mention where I got them. I found very few in my local used books store, the ones with the newer covers I got from Book Outlet (and you can probably find those other places, too), but 90% of my collection I bought from a little place called Thrift Books. Now, I'm not sponsored by them or anything (I wish lol), but that is a great place to find all these old, out of print books! And even though they are used, they're in great condition!
So if you're looking for some good ol' Fear Street (or anything else, really) but can't find them anywhere, check them out there! I'm sure you'll find them! And even better, if you click on the button down below I can get you 15% off your order 😉 Again, I'm not sponsored. But if you use the 15% off coupon code, I ALSO get 15% off an order! So it's a total win/win situation!
And if you don't want to buy any, that's totally okay! You can enter my giveaway down below for some free Fear Street!
Onto the giveaway! I'm giving away six Fear Street books. SIX!
The Betrayal (The Fear Street Saga #1) by R.L. Stine
The Burning (The Fear Street Saga #3) by R.L. Stine
The First Scream (Fear Park #1) by R.L. Stine

I think the Cheerleaders series is probably my favorite of the Fear Street books. Although I haven't read them in a long time.
