This has been my last full week with this patient. I'll still be working this Monday and Tuesday there training the new nurse, but after that, my other patient should be home.
Aside from work, I had a ton of appointments and it turns out I'm still super anemic π Love this for me. Anyway, if in one month my iron levels don't go up with all the changes we've made, I may need an iron infusion. Sigh. But I have been SO tired for months now. Like, I love naps, but this anemia exhaustion is getting ridiculous. I cannot wait till it's under control. Lol.
In other better news, I got some new nail polish!

One collection I look forward to every year is the Vice collection from Cirque Colors because they're all neons and I LOVE neon nail polish! The top 6 are from the 2025 Vice collection and the bottom two are just some other random nail polishes I grabbed. But I am very excited to play with these today!
I'm still watching Criminal Minds. I believe I'm on season 11 now? Anyway, I love it. Obviously. Lol. On YouTube I'm also catching up on the Karen Reed trial and omg it gets spicy! I watched the first trial last year and at this point I'm invested and need to now how it ends because that entire investigation was so frustratingly incompetent.
I also started rewatching The Disastrous Life of Saiki K... again π I have literally seen this anime like 3 or 4 times at this point. Lol. But I love how chaotic and dumb it is. Lol. It's very slice-of-life, which is something I don't usually go for in anime/manga, but there's just something about this one that's just really fun.
And then I was able to convince some of my brothers to go watch Final Destination 6 with me today!! I am SO excited! This is one of my favorite horror movie franchises so I cannot wait to be traumatized all over again π
This week in the Very Veggie Legacy, the twins aged up to toddlers!

They're SO cute! I love this little family π₯ΉEven if I didn't want twins π
Here is the dad autonomously using the tea set that his wife made with the pottery skill. I cannot get over how nice the ceramics are!

And she is finally thriving with her tattooing! She is finally getting customers requesting tattoos and they apparently love them. Lol.

Meanwhile, her husband sitting in a corner eating a lollipop bigger than his head π Sometimes it's really annoying when sims are hungry and they'll go get like a snack or make candy instead of getting a meal from the fridge, but in this case, I let him make his candy because it was his birthday. Lol. Both him and my main sim Jade aged up to adults.
And I played so much of this save file that the twins aged up again to children! Lol.

Here they are after their makeover. Very purple because, again, they are the eggplant generation and their color theme is obviously purple. Lol.
One thing I thought was cute is that they both autonomously went to do their homework in one of their mom's classes. This is where she teaches tattooing. And then they had a friend over and they were hanging out in the tattoo parlor! I honestly don't know why it's so popular, but I thought it was funny that my sims kept gravitating there. Lol.

When my main sim Jade first started dating, I had her go on a date with Kyle Kyleson, who I love, but boy did things go disastrously. Lol. They just weren't meant to be. Lol. So the fact that he tells her this about her and her husband, it was pretty funny. But I have been having a lot of fun with this legacy. Jade is almost done with all of her tasks. She's maxed the wellness skill plus 3 artistic skills (painting, knitting, pottery), and she just completed the knitting aspiration. All she really has left to do is have her small business be a 5-star business, and she is almost there with that!
And then yesterday I went back to my Super Sim and here she is crying tears of happiness... or maybe sadness because she's completed her second degree... out of like a hundred π Okay, it's not that many, but there are a lot of degrees she still needs to do. She's completed the Villany and Art History degrees, and she's now working on the Communications degree.
She was living in a university dorm, but she had saved up a bunch of money from her stint in the Criminal career, plus a bunch of part-time jobs she's been doing here and there, so I finally moved her to her own place! It took me a while to get it completely furnished just because I kept running out of money, but I think it's finally done! And it's very cute! I'll take some screenshots today!
Anyway, here is her mom visiting after a bunch of their family died again. And she had her first burglary and she absolutely beat him up! Good job! Lol. Anyway, I was really enjoying playing this save file again so that's what I'm gonna go do as soon as I finish writing this post. Lol.

#418: Some Fun, Short Books |

I used to use the money cheat with my Sims to get them where I want them so I could build the houses I wanted, etc., lol. I have a friend who had to have iron infusions and she had a tough time finding somewhere to get it done. Although she doesn't have health insurance that would have a normal doctor to take are of it for her, so I'm sure that was part of the issue. I can't wait to go see the new Final Destination movie! Although I'll probably go by myself. Hope you have a good week!

I don't really use money cheats unless it's to cheat AWAY money π Once they have all the money in the world the game is too easy and it stops being fun for me, which is weird I know. But I like it when my sims struggle. Lol.
