I woke up with a migraine this morning and I still feel a bit discombobulated, so I'm gonna try to keep this brief.
Work was less terrible this week, but that's only because I didn't have to deal with the fucking school district. That is literally the thing that is driving me over the edge, and I don't even work FOR them! I work WITH them sometimes, to take my patient to school, but this year has been terrible. Anyway, once this situation is resolved and I'm a bit more removed from it, I'll explain it more because I just think about it and it makes me mad. But I'll tell you this: once upon a time, I thought I would like to be a school nurse, but working in this school district that seems to be getting worse and worse as the years go by has killed that desire for me.
Aside from that, I think I have a trip coming up this weekend? And I say I think because it hasn't been completely planned yet. Lol. My brain is still mush from this morning, but I really think I need to get the tickets bought and the hotels booked before the day is over. You'll know more next week 😉
Let's see... I've been rewatching Bones and The Middle! The latter has been so much fun and so soothing during this terrible time.
Two of the three kids, including the heir, of my carrot gen in the Very Veggie legacy have died ðŸ˜
Baby Chip of the potato gen was sad about his grandma's passing. We actually had a funeral for her so it was nice to see the whole family.
Chip met his great aunt Amber at the funeral, the last remaining sim of the carrot gen. And once we got home, we worked on building skills!
And in fact, Calabastian, finished all of his goals for his generation!
Next, we are focusing on Chip, the next generation. But he's still a kid so it will be a while before he starts on his generation's goals.
But here he is playing with his dad and then aging up into a child!
These autogenerated outfits are wild 😂 It was especially crazy because the hairstyle, which is new, is locked! Lol.
But I gave him a makeover and I think he is super cute! His color theme is brown, because potato. Lol.
Family reunion day came around, so I held the party in the new world with the new diving board and water slide! It was so fun! Even though Calabastian is really bad at diving 😂
Chip's main goal for his generation is that he is going to be a landlord, so then I had the brilliant idea that he should have a sibling so that they can live with him in one of his units when they grow up 🙃 So I had his parents try for baby, and mom is currently pregnant! One thing I've found interesting about the squash gen is that even though Calabastian has the hates children trait, he is never uncomfortable or tense around his own kid! He's actually a really good dad! He did get tense when he recently tried for baby though, which is fair (remember, Chip was an accident baby, so there was no tension around his conception lol).
A couple new features that came with the new pack are the ability to play rock, paper, scissors AND hide and seek! It is SO cute!
I also played week 3 of the rewards event. Nothing too exciting happened, though I did get this family I playground from the new pack! I love it!
Oh! I know Chip is still a kid, but I am so excited about him being a landlord that I already started building the apartments! They are not done yet, but I am having a lot of fun building them!
I actually did some nail art! Some slime nails. Lol. They also glow in the dark, but I cannot be bothered to take a picture in that state at this precise moment 😅 In fact, this post has gone on longer than I wanted and I am starting to feel nauseous again, probably from staring at the computer. Lol. So I'm gonna go now. Lol.
