This is EVERYTHING I read during the readathon this weekend. Quick rundown: Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop was boring... but I liked the setting. The Night Stockers was vile... and not in a good way horror can sometimes be. I liked the story, but the violence directed at certain characters was uncalled for and disgusting. Sakamoto Day Vol. 18 was fun like always. Exactly the palate cleanser I needed after the last book. The Kraken of Cape Madre was AMAZING!! It reminded me so much of Supernatural, which you know I love! Mama Didn't Raise a Pendeja was also great. A nonfiction book with a bunch of anti-affirmations. Exactly the reminders I needed right now. Lol.
I also started this one, but only made it about 25% into it. It is quite intriguing so far.

So I thought I was going to be starting Tress of the Emerald Sea because I wanted to read an epic fantasy for a prompt for one of my challenges, but the Cosmere is intimidating, and now I don't know if this one is okay to read now? So now I put the second Mistborn book on hold at the library, but the problem is that I'm number 5 in line 😠I might just start Tress and hope for the best. But there is also Warbreaker, which the author has for free on his website, so that's another option (but that one is veeeery long lol). I just need an epic fantasy, and it will probably (definitely) be a Brandon Sanderson book. Lol.
