Sunday Post #477: Some Good Things, Some Bad

Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week!

What I've been doing:

I am sick 🥲 Tbh I'm surprised I lasted this long into the Fall season before getting sick. Lol. Luckily, it's just a mild cold, so not too bad. But I do get coughing fits every once in a while and it is no fun. Lol.

Aside from that, just work. Nothing too eventful, thankfully. This coming week I have a few days off, and not just because I'm sick lol, so that will be nice.

What I've been watching:

Back on my Bones rewatch! Currently on season 5.

What I've been listening to:

"I wrote this with Joanna joking around during a session, and it just blossomed into this song, we sang this as a duet and I actually SCREAM at the end of the song so wait for that :) Night is about how AI is trying to replace musicians and art, is that what billionaires want? They want music and art to mean nothing but a prompt? Do they want to replace millions of jobs? Why not fix bluetooth first, or automate taxes and simple healthcare lol? I'll always stand against that, real art is important, real art....is life. Life isn't just about surviving, it's about living." -Unlike Pluto

What I've been playing:

I have been trying to not make my way through Power Wash Simulator 2 too fast, but that's not working. Lol.

I cleaned this street cleaner thing that had a super cute gnome antenna lol...

A gas station and scooter-type thing...

And then a gazebo and another house. I love this game 😌

And I actually played a little bit of Sims 4 this week! I went back to my Super Sim file, where she was working through all the archaeology things.

She visited temples where she dodged traps and found treasure...

And then proceeded to curse some sims with the treasure she found 😂 In my defense, it was part of an aspiration, so she HAD to do it. Also, some sims may or may not have died during this process 👀 (Where was this relic when she was a mob boss criminal? 😆)

And yesterday I played some Preserve! It's such a relaxing game 😌

And it's just so pretty!

I only ended up doing three biomes, but these last two are more difficult, as you can see by the green patches of grass I didn't fill above. Lol.

This sea one is a little easier, but still more difficult than the first biome I did. But it was still fun!

#440: Readathon Wrap-Up

Book Haul

Purchased:

They're here! Remember during the readathon how I went to the author's website at midnight after I finished reading The Kraken of Cape Madre and ordered the rest of the books in the series? Well, they're here! The author lives in the same state as I do, maybe like 3-4 hours away, so they got here really quick! Which I'm glad for because I already started the next book 😆 He also threw in a free book sleeve for me! 😭 I love it!

Library Loot:

More books from the library! Like I've mentioned before, I need to read an epic fantasy, I just haven't settled on which one yet, hence the additional Brendon Sanderson book. Lol. The second book is a cozy fantasy mystery situation, I believe. Lol.

How was your guy's week? Get any bookish things? Let me know in the comments below or leave me a link to your post!
