I loved this book so much! I mean, I love this series in general, so it's really not that surprising. Lol. But in this book, it's Halloween season and Ellie and Stacey are investigating a haunted haunted house!
Let me explain: There's this old funeral home the current owners are using as a haunted house attraction, and they think it's actually haunted! Wild! I was very happy that Ellie decided to walk through the house as a haunted attraction before they took the case because it sounded very cool! I just love a haunted house attraction 😌
And as always, the case in this book was very interesting. My thought right off the bat was that Ellie and Stacey were going to have a hard time figuring out who was haunting the house since hundreds of bodies came through that place because, you know, it was a funeral home. Lol. Unfortunately for the girls, it was even more complicated than that.
This book was just so much fun—I loved it! Because not only did Ellie and Stacey have their ghost hunting hats on, but they also played another role (to aid in their investigation, but still! Lol), and it was great!
And there were scenes that I thought were pretty creepy! Actually haunted haunted houses are scary! It was just a good book all around! Creepy with a good mystery, great writing, and great characters that have fun banter between them. I loved it!
