This book was GREAT!! It's the final battle with Loki, and only one will come out on top...

Gwen's been through hell and back, and then things get worse. Loki and the Reapers endanger the life of someone Gwen dearly loves... This is the last straw for Gwen! She has just about had it with the Reapers, and their latest stunt has pushed Gwen over the edge! Gwen will do anything to rescue this person she loves... and when I say anything, I mean anything... Even maybe doom humanity. Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit here, but her decision seriously freaked me out! Anyway, more on that later ;) The time has come to end all this--it's either destroy Loki or get killed by him. Gwen's battle is about to begin, and with the help of her friends, they might just come out on top. Cross your fingers...

Remnants of the Dead was a dark and chilling tale about a creepy town where there's an abundance of sinister... things going on. One night 5 workers at the Pandora Cafe witness the murder of one of their co-worker's sister. And then things get worse. Each one of them then faces certain death, unaware that their lives are deeply intertwined. They don't know who is after them, but what ever it is, it wont stop until every single one of them is dead.

Olivia is just your normal teenage girl dealing with normal teenage stuff: the ex-boyfriend and his new (and mean) girlfriend, homework and other school stuff, and a crush. Then one day she finds a necklace with an intricate charm on it... or should I say, it found her. Odd, I know, but that's what happened! This weird necklace suddenly, it seems, gives Olivia powers. Powers that seem to make every boy within a one yard radius to fawn all over her. It's proving difficult for Olivia to control her new found abilities, but as it turns out, Olivia might not be the only one with supernatural abilities at the school.

Except she herself might not get out alive this second time. And then...

What caught my interest about Deep Blue was the cool concept of mermaids with magic who are basically underwater witches. I mean, how cool is that? Plus a princess who goes out on an adventure to recruit other mermaids to save the underwater world? Yes please! It sounds like a fantastic adventure! Unfortunately, it was not executed as well as it could have been and it definitely was not what I expected, which is not always a good thing. But I do feel like it had potential!

Mia really likes this guy and will do anything to keep Rob's attention... Even do a love spell on him. Except said love spell doesn't do what its title claims, and instead them the whole senior class into zombies! How you get zombies from a love spell, I have no idea. But it's more ridiculous than it sounds, lol.

Layla's life isn't your most typical: She and her family move around the continental US every year on Layla's birthday, always settling close to a body of water. This time around though things get weird, really weird. You see, something in the water is attacking Layla for some unknown reason. No, that's not right... The water itself is attacking her! What?! It's crazier than it sounds, trust me. Especially since Layla and her family have this connection to water that Layla will find hard to believe, a connection that could potentially answer the burning question about the whereabouts of her missing father.
