Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
And thank the gods for that because I desperately need it! Lol. And thanks to Lost in a Story, as well, for creating this amazing meme!
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Phoenix Overture I'm gonna keep! I loved the first book in this series, so I do plan on going back and finishing it off... eventually. Lol.
Innocent Darkness is a steampunk novel, which I don't read a lot of, and this particular one isn't really catching my attention so I'm gonna get rid of it!
Deadly Kisses is about reapers, but this one isn't really holding my attention either so it's also gone.
Minders is a sci-fi novel... sounds interesting, but not interesting enough for me to keep. It's gone!
Hellhole sounds like a lot of fun! And I loved the author's Croak series, so I'm keeping this one!
WBI: Witches Bureau of Investigation... basically the FBI but with witches! Yes please! Keeping!
The Woken Gods is a mythology book, but the synopsis isn't doing it for me so I'm gonna get rid of it!
So Close to You has something about a secret project and it sounds like maybe time travel or travel to another dimension... anyway, I'm getting rid of it too.
Fire & Flood is another books whose synopsis isn't doing it for me... it's gone!
Crash is about a girl who has visions, but... I'm just not feeling it. I'm also gonna remove this one.
