The day before the readathon I finished Dark Quasar Reckoning and I, of course, really enjoyed it. I love this universe and all the fun characters. And then during the readathon I finally read If Looks Could Kill and it was also good! I was hooked as soon as I found out it was Medusa vs Jack the Ripper. Loved the concept!
And then I also started this one during the readathon, but I didn't finish it. I'm about a third of the way through, and so far so good! It's horror and has Japanese mythology! Love that combo!
Literally no idea. Lol. I haven't shared my immedate tbr lately, but I do have one. There's a bunch of horror, fantasy, sci-fi... but idk what's going to be next. Lol.
Glad to see you enjoyed If Looks Could Kill. I thought it was good, but at times it dragged for me a bit.

I don't disagree with you. It was slower in places, but for whatever reason, I didn't mind too much.
