March 2026 TBR

I did it again. I finished my TBR, and this time I finished it ONE week before the end of the month! 😭 Which is crazy because it was a shorter month. Even crazier: I only had 6 books on my TBR but ended up reading TEN books overall in February! 😱

It was a really good reading month and I honestly don't know how I did it 😅 But I'll take it! Lol.

Like I said, in February, I only picked out 6 prompts, with 5 of them being random picks. But in the end, I completed 54 total prompts across all my reading challenges using the 10 books I read in February 😱

I cannot tell you how much fun I am having with making these TBRs every month! Which is crazy because I usually have a hard time sticking to them. Lol. In March, I decided to go with 5 prompts again, even though I did great in February. Lol.

The first 4 of these I picked randomly, and the last one is my monthly prompt for one of the challenges. One thing you'll notice about all the books I picked this month: they're all horror 😆 I'm SO glad I was able to fit them into these prompts somehow! (Though I do feel like I shoehorned in one of them lol... again 🤣)

A book written by a Latine author

This first prompt (from the Candy Reading Challenge) was SO perfect because I already had a couple of books by Latine authors on my immediate TBR, and THIS was one of them! This is a collection of horror stories all revolving around a Mexican board game called Loteria. I freaking love playing this! I like to describe it as Mexican bingo, because it's very similar. Lol. But instead of numbers, you match images on the card to the images on your board. And apparently, each story is about one card. I'm SO excited!

A book set in New York

This is one of the prompts (also from the Candy Reading Challenge) I was having trouble with because a lot of books don't mention where they're set. The synopsis of this one sure didn't. Lol. But after a bit of research and trying to dodge spoilers, I have come to the conclusion that I THINK that this book takes place in New York 😅😂 I'm excited though! I don't think I've read anything from Kelley Armstrong since her YA urban fantasy era! And now she's doing horror? Yes, please!

A book by an author with your initials

This prompt (from the A-Z Reading Challenge) was another one I had a hard time with. It says to read a book by an author who shares your initials, but I looked through my 700+ books, and not a single author shares my exact initials, sooo 🤷‍♀️ Lol. So I am shoehorning in this book that was on my immediate TBR! Lol. The author does share ONE initial, so I'm gonna take it. Lol.

Green cover

Okay, how LUCKY that I got this prompt (Color Coded Reading Challenge) for MARCH of all months 😆 And here is the thing, I did think about reading Go Luck Yourself this month because obviously. Lol. BUT it's a romance, and I already read 3 romances in a row this winter and I was honestly done 😅 However, I do want to read it, and if my mood cooperates, I will. But otherwise, I know I will be reading The Caretaker FOR SURE because horror. Lol.

A book that has the same colors on the cover as February’s book.

And this last prompt is from the Go with the Flow Reading Challenge. For this one, I have to read a book that has the same colors as Artificial Condition, which I read in February for this challenge. They're both a similar brownish color, so I think this one could work. I've been really looking forward to reading something by this author because I have heard really good things about it! (Tbh, this book would also work for the first prompt with a Latine author, but I like making things harder for myself. Lol).

So that's it. 5 books on my tbr, potentially 6 depending on my mood, and I am very excited to read them all!

Let me know if you've read any of these books or what is on your TBR for the month! 😊
