Synopsis:

If there is one thing eighteen-year-old Aurora Sky wants, it’s to get off the iceberg she calls home. Being kissed before she graduates wouldn’t hurt either.

Then a near-fatal car wreck changes everything. Government agents step in and save Aurora’s life in exchange for her services as a vampire hunter. In Alaska. Basically she’s a glorified chew toy. All thanks to her rare blood type, which sends a vampire into temporary paralysis right before she has to finish the job… by hand.

Now Aurora’s only friends are groupies of the undead and the only boy she can think about may very well be a vampire. And if he’s a vampire, will she be forced to kill him?

For ages 18+

My rating: ★★★★☆

First of all, can I just say how pretty that cover is! Love it!

As for the book itself, I really liked it! I thought it was quite entertaining and action-y (though more action would've been nice, too.) It literally made me laugh out loud in some parts...I really love a book that can earn me weird looks from family members when I laugh out loud :)

Synopsis:

Beat the game. Save the world.

Pandora’s just your average teen, glued to her cell phone and laptop, surfing Facebook and e-mailing with her friends, until the day her long-lost father sends her a link to a mysterious site featuring twelve photos of her as a child. Unable to contain her curiosity, Pandora enters the site, where she is prompted to play her favorite virtual-reality game, Zero Day. This unleashes a global computer virus that plunges the whole world into panic: suddenly, there is no Internet. No cell phones. No utilities, traffic lights, hospitals, law enforcement. Pandora teams up with handsome stepbrothers Eli and Theo to enter the virtual world of Zero Day. Simultaneously, she continues to follow the photographs from her childhood in an attempt to beat the game and track down her father, her one key to saving the world as we know it.

Part The Matrix, part retelling of the Pandora myth, Doomed has something for gaming fans, dystopian fans, and romance fans alike.

My rating: ★★★★★

This book was amazing! I absolutely loved it! What initially caught my attention was the name of the main character: Pandora. Pretty understandable for a girl in love with mythology. So, yeah, she has a Greek name, but honestly, I wasn't expecting any Greek mythology. However, I was pleasantly surprised!

Okay, this has got to be my most favorite post ever!! Hot guys? Hell yeah! Not in any particular order...except for maybe the last one...I loves him SO much he is definitely my number 1!

(Clicking on the pic will take you to the book's Goodreads page. Clicking on the title in the paragraph below will to take you to my review of the book.)

William from Oppression was such a great guy...sweet, charming, gorgeous...a total sweetheart!

Now from the Blood Coven Vampire series (Soul Bound (#7) and Blood Forever (#8)) I've got 2 guys: Jareth and Magnus (who both have sexy British accents! :D). I really love both guys! MagnusThough he is sometimes cocky and kind of a jerk, he is also very sweet and caring. Jareth: I am totally in love with Jareth! Even though he and Rayne totally hated each other in the beginning, he really is just the sweetest thing ever! Yeah, I totally have a thing for sweet guys ;)

Sam from Incarnate... gosh, what can I say about that super sweet and gorgeous guy…I LOVED him! He was very kind...and an all around great guy!

And Raj from Entangled...*sighs* I seriously have a weakness for bad boys...especially if they give steamy kisses like Raj does ;) I thought he was an amazing character...very sweet, too.  And in Duplicity? Things get even BETTER! The very 1st chapter, Oh My Gods! *swoons* It was hot, hot, HOT! (Get a taste of what I'm talking about here! Just scroll down to the Duplicity excerpt!)

Moving on...I may be cheating a little here because I have not finished reading Before I Wake yet. But can I just say how freakin' much I love Tod! That's right, I'm on Team Tod (used to be on Team Nash...that all changed in If I Die)! Tod is super funny, protective, kinda cocky, but deep down, a very kind and sweet guy!

In Hallowed, I'm Team Tucker all the way! Tucker is just sooo funny and sweet and a total gentleman…I adore him!

Brendan...*sighs* Brendan from Spellcaster is just AMAZING! He's gorgeous, was very protective of Emma, a bad boy that made me swoon all too often...all I want to know is: where can I find my very own Brendan?!

Hades (or Henry...whatevs) from Goddess Interrupted is sooo sweet! He's really a nice guy...such a sweetheart! And I absolutely adore him! Hades has officially become one of my favorite Greek gods, whoo!

And now for my #1 guy...Logan from Crimson Frost!! I don't know if you noticed a pattern in the guys I chose, but they're all either sweethearts or bad boys...Logan just happens to be BOTH! He's that totally swoon-worthy, plainly amazing, oh-so-sexy Spartan that makes me giggle like a fan girl and I nearly melt every time he's mentioned. I have a weakness for bad boys ;) and I just adore him to death! In Crimson FrostLogan had me swooning from page one...I seriously LOVE that guy! He's gorgeous, very protective, and all around sweet! How can you not love him?

Well, that's all the hotness I've got for you today. How about I leave you with this silly video...

Tell me, what are some of your fave book boyfriends?

Synopsis:

For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I’d ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming.

I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself…

My rating: ★★★★★

I absolutely LOVED this book! From book one I have loved this series, and it just keeps getting better and better!

Here are my top 10 fave covers of 2012 (all of which were released this year and I have read...except for the last gorgeousness...I have yet to read that one):

(Clicking on the pic will take you to the book's Goodreads page. Clicking on the name in the paragraph below will to take you to my review of the book.)

At a glance Croak doesn't seem like anything special, right? WRONG! Although you can't tell in this pic, but  in real life it has a very shiny, reflective cover..I love it! Hallowed and Everneath are just gorgeous! I especially love the smokiness of Everneath.

Incarnate...not only is the book amazing but the cover as well! It has one of the most beautiful covers EVER!  I love the colors and the mask...that is actually a scene in the book! And Entangled and Duplicity are gorgeous as well! The girl on Entangled kinda reminds of Khione (also spelled Chione), the Greek goddess of snow. SO pretty!

The Turning Tides is also stunning! And actually all of the Marina's Tales covers are gorgeous! Undeadly I love because its so pretty yet so dark...I like the combination. Same with Girl of Nightmares. And Heaven Sent is the only one I haven't read yet, but I HAD to include one of the Fallen Angels covers. These are just some of the best covers! The colors, the sexy Guy... *sigh*
