Synopsis: THE GUTS TO GET THE JOB DONE

Life’s not easy for a workaday cell, and amid all the hustle and bustle it takes to keep the human body going, it can be hard to know who’s an enemy and who’s a friend. You might think all germs are bad, but it turns out some bacteria aren’t just friendly, they’re downright essential (not to mention cuddly)! In fact, when an old nemesis returns, it might just be those friendly, cuddly bacteria that help save the day. The saga of life inside you continues!

My rating: ★★★★☆

In this week’s episode of Cells at Work! 😆 we are looking at H. Pylori, angiogenic shift, Cytokines, harmful bacteria, and the return of the cancer cells...

I watched this anime a couple of years ago and loved it, so going into the manga, I knew I was going to enjoy it, but going into the first chapter with H. Pylori, I forgot how freaking cute those little bacteria were! 😍 I know I’ve mentioned it many times before, but I love the art style of this manga! And I just really like the characterizations of the different cells and bacteria! It’s so creative! But not only that, the series is hilarious! It is just such a fun read! And I like that even though each chapter talks about a different bacteria or illness or whatever it may be, the story throughout this volume is very linear, which I very much enjoyed.

I am obviously really enjoying this series. Lol. It is just a fun and easy read that is informative, has great characters, and amazing artwork!

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a link to your review or comment below! 😊
