Down the TBR Hole #17

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!

And thank the gods for that because I desperately need it! Lol. And thanks to Lost in a Story, as well, for creating this amazing meme!

How it works:

• Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
• Order on ascending date added.
• Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
• Read the synopses of the books
• Decide: keep it or should it go?

My Name Is Rapunzel is obviously a retelling, but one that is not capturing my attention so I'm gonna get rid of it.

Furious is a Greek mythology book about 3 girls who become Furies. I love mythology, but I'm not really interested in this one anymore.

Whispering Stone is a strange one... I'm not really sure what it's about. Gargoyles and spirits in stones? Idk. The synopsis isn't doing it for me, so I'm getting rid of this one too.

Teen Fury: Unleashed is another book about Furies... and another book I have decided to get rid of. I've become very picky, okay? Lol.

Givin' Up The Ghost is about a ghost whisperer and a murder mystery... and while I usually love those, this particular one is not capturing my attention so I'm getting rid of it.



Lost In Thought sounds very interesting with it's supernatural abilities and boarding school... definitely keeping this one!

Picture the Dead is about ghosts and hauntings, but the synopsis isn't doing it for me even though I love this sort of stuff. This one is gone.

The Grimm Chronicles sounds like a lot of fun! It's about a girl who gets rid of all the evil guys from the Grimm fairy tales that are roaming around in the present day. Keeping!

Recalled I am getting rid of. It hurts to do so because I adore the cover and I love the concept of reapers and all that stuff, but it's just not capturing my attention! I so badly wanted the synopsis to grab me, but it's just not! It's gone.

Another Little Piece sounds really good! It's a mystery, and one I really want to read! Keeping!
