Synopsis: Scenes in Wes's POV from Better Than The Movies.

My rating: ★★★★★

I love these Wes POV scenes! Once I started reading them I couldn’t stop! They are just so cute!

Liz’s Proposal

This scene was toward the beginning of Better Than The Movies when Liz goes to Wes with a proposal: Wes helps her get to know Michael better, and Wes gets The Spot. The way Wes was torn about helping Liz though. Poor Wes! He obviously doesn’t want her to get together with Michael, but also this is the chance for him to get closer to her, sooo...

I was a fool for my neighbor.

This was so freaking cute! I love a Wes POV! Being inside his head is so interesting because we get to see why he did the things he did in Better Than The Movies, things that Liz thought were just to annoy her. But no, there’s more to his actions than just that.

The Party

This Wes POV scene is the one where Wes agrees to take Liz to the party so she can get to know Michael better. I loved this! Even though these two had more of an enemy relationship in the past, they really had each other's backs during this party. Liz telling Ashley that she and Wes are dating (omg fake dating trope, my favorite!), and then Wes saving Liz after Ashley threw up on her...

He swept her out of that room and then lent her some of his clothes 😭 I love Wes. He is SO sweet! And I enjoyed getting his POV on this scene because I was so curious to see what he was thinking. And what he was thinking was that Liz looked incredible in his clothes 😂 The way it made him crazy, it was so cute! I am loving these extra scenes from Wes’s POV. But I’ve been reading so many of them that at this point I just want to re-read Better Than The Movies 😆

Have you read these shorts? If so, what did you think of them? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a link to your review or comment below! 😊
