I didn't end up loving Shadows of Truth as much as I was expecting. It was underwhelming. That being said, it wasn't a terrible book. I really liked the world and the new mythos that was introduced.
And then during the Super Bowl yesterday I read two more volumes of A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation and they were fun! I enjoyed them! I feel like the queer baiting might get exhausting (just let the boys be in love! ðŸ˜), but I liked everything else.

Up next, I think I want to read this one. It sounds like a fun and wacky cozy fantasy. I think. Lol. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read the synopsis too closely because these days I like going into books with only a vague idea of what they're about. Lol.

ahh that's a shame about Shadows of Truth 😅 I hope you enjoy Dreadful though! It's on my TBR as well and it sort of gave me Assistant to the Villain vibes when I first read the premise
ReplyDeleteI am about 25% into it and it is a lot of fun so far!
