Another week of work. Thankfully, nothing too exciting happened. Which is good because it's been doing nothing but stressing me out lately for things that are out of my control. But in other news, I went on a spree and bought a bunch of t-shirts!
I love these so much! These are basically how I've been feeling the entirety of 2025 🥴😅 I've been wanting the Emotionally Exhausted one for a while now. I had a coupon, so I'm glad I took advantage and got them! I'm currently wearing the dinosaur one 😆 It's so comfy and relatable 😆😂
Last weekend, I finished rewatching the Final Destination franchise. It was so fun! I mean, 4 isn't good, but the other 4 (now 5!) movies in the series are really good!
Also, yesterday, out of nowhere, I decided to start Schitt's Creek, and it is a blast! To be fair, I did try to watch this show a couple years ago, I saw the first episode or two, but I just wasn't hooked. I probably wasn't in the right mood for it. But I'm glad I gave it a second shot because it is really funny!
Today I think I want to watch some spooky things? Idk. We'll see. Lol.
The third week of the Rewards Event is done! This coming week will be the last one. It's been fun for the most part, it's just not very long.
Here is my sim drawing in the sand as one of the tasks this week. I didn't even know you could do this! It must be new. And in the second screenshot above, you'll see that my sim's dad was struck by lightning. I didn't even realize it 😠To be fair, I haven't really played with her parents, I just let them do whatever they want and have focused mostly on Aubrey.
Oh! Here is the swimsuit reward from last week. It's so cute! And then this week, one of the rewards was a tattoo of a log? Interesting choice 😅😂
Okay, but now let's move on to the save file with the most drama. Lol. And boy, do I have some for you today 😆 First, here is my gen 1 sim mentoring her son in art. She then transfers her small business to him!
And then HE gets married to his girlfriend!
She is SO pretty! I went into CAS and gave her a little bit of a makeover. I'm not afraid to go in there and give them plastic surgery aka adjust their features, but I didn't with her! I thought she was really pretty on her own. I did give her a skin overlay because I'm addicted to CC lol, so that's why her face looks different. And I obviously also gave her different hair and clothes. I think she looks great!
The last thing I did before moving out Amethyst, is having her ask her mom for a tattoo. Lol. Then she moved out to her own place (I forgot to take screenshots of her house, but maybe next week!) and started working on her goals. One of those goals was maxing the dancing skill, and here she is dancing and laughing maniacally because she's evil 😂
Oh, maybe I should acknowledge the silly eggplant costume 😅 This Very Veggie Legacy Challenge is meant to be silly, and one of the rules for the eggplant gen is that they had to wear this costume for every outfit category 😂 I ended up giving her two outfits per category, one of them being this costume and the other just normal clothes. But every time she changes into this costume, I cannot take her seriously 😂
And here is my eggplant sim growing eggplants 😂 This was another of her goals: to grow oversized aubergines. And they make her some good money! She's only gotten these really big ones once, and I actually haven't sold them yet because I want her to enter one in a contest for oversized crops. I haven't done it yet. I don't think it happens for another two Sims days, so probably next time I play (which let's be honest, will be today as soon as I finish writing this 😂)
And yet another of her goals was to make nectar (aka wine) and become a connoisseur. She has made all sorts of nectar with crops from her garden in her greenhouse. I love the animations of this skill. Her falling in the tub is so funny to me 😂
Okay, but now let's move on to the juicy stuff. So this guy above in the brown vest was her partner, right? His name is Thomas. Well, she then met the oblivious dude in the white shirt, Rahul. She invited Rahul over to her house, she romanced him, and right in the middle of them woohooing, Thomas comes in and catches her cheating 😬 Yikes. Thomas is obviously upset for a very good reason, but then she has the audacity to break up with HIM. And she is absolutely unbothered by it! She is terrible! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ And this is basically what she does over and over and over. I'm not gonna lie, it's been really fun 😆
And here are her friends and partners just calling her out and getting the jealousy trait 😂 Meanwhile, our unbothered queen got the noncommittal trait 🤣 That tracks for her tbh. Lol. The thing that is so funny is that Audrey is her high school friend... by the time she got out of high school, she had already cheated on 3 sims 😠So the fact that her friend is surprised is hilarious. Lol.
Here is werewolf Jacob Volkov announcing to everyone how unattracted to his wife he is 😬 Yikes. Amethyst was ready to help him with that. She invited him over to her place, but he didn't show because he was in the middle of a werewolf rampage ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ Probably for the best tbh. Lol. But don't worry, even though she couldn't get through to Jacob, she later sinks her claws into his DAD 😂
An interruption in the drama for some different drama: I think my Welcome Wagon event is broken. The neighbors keep showing up, but the event doesn't. Anyway, Amethyst was busy... doing something (I honestly don't remember what lol). Her neighbors let themselves in, using her pool, when one of them DIES 😂 I was more surprised that SHE wasn't the cause of this 😂 I mean, she's evil, after all. Lol.
Speaking of, she is doing the Villainous Valentine Aspiration, so this gives you a good idea of what she is doing with her life 😂 She's been going after married sims, breaking them up, romancing them, cheating on them, and rinse and repeat. She's terrible... I love her! 🤣 Oh, and that first screenshot above, that's from one of my mods. I changed that so whenever they did regular woohoo, there would be a 25% chance of her becoming pregnant (default is obviously 0, but in my normal gameplay, I usually have it at 1%, just for fun 😆). I feel like that's more accurate for the story I'm trying to tell with her. I honestly don't think she would try and have a baby on purpose, so this was a good compromise. I mean, the Legacy does need to go on. Lol.
During one of her many times romancing Sims, she got the swapping traits pop-up above, which was WILD and completely inaccurate. Amethyst would never 🤣 Oh, and Rahul has made a reappearance, telling her that she and Justin make a cute couple??? She's had many, MANY partners at this point, but if I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure that Justin is the guy she cheated with on Rahul! 😠Speaking of Justin, let's talk about him for a little bit, because he did NOT take the cheating and breakup well. I mean, none of the sims did, but Justin is the only one who's been reaching out to my sim, making comments about her conquests, even after he DIED!
I can't with this guy 😂 And this is only 3 different messages. I'm pretty sure we've had more from him. And look! The last screenshot below... he's DEAD! And still going on about the Rebound Store ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ He is so bitter 😂
The guy below in the yellow snow suit is Kiyoshi Ito. He is one of the NPCs that comes with Snowy Escape, and he is one of my favorite townies, so of course Amethyst had to go after him! 😆 What I didn't know was that he was married to this lady below, the grocer Amethyst goes to to sell her crops 😠I felt so bad when I discovered this because the grocer lady always gives her a discount and gives her more money for the items she sells her. And now here she is stealing her husband 😠Amethys obviously doesn't care 😂 And keep Mr. Kiyoshi Ito in mind, because he's going to come back later with some drama 👀👀👀
I love this game, obviously, but I also hate it. It is always broken! And one of the bugs happening right now involves pregnancy. It's been so frustrating! So because of that, idk if it's affecting my mod and my 25% risky woohoo. I have been expecting Amethyst to be pregnant already, but nothing! And let me tell you, she's had A LOT of woohoo 😂 So I went back into the mod and increased the percentage to 50%.
And she immediately became pregnant with Kristopher Volkov's baby! Yep, this is the dad of the other werewolf she couldn't get with. Lol. (Right after this, I did lower the risky woohoo back down to 25% lol). Oh, and don't mind the green splotches on her skin... she was sick with an ailment from the new fairy pack. Lol.
She gave birth in her eggplant costume 😠Literally cannot take her seriously 🤣 Anyway, this is Carrolina, my carrot gen! I think I'm going to start embracing the silly names too. I was wondering whether I should just lean fully into it and call her Carrotlina, but I couldn't do it 🤣 I'm slowly leaning into the silliness of this challenge. Lol.
Another interruption in the drama for some different drama: she was being robbed, but because one of her goals was to max the fitness skill, she was able to kick the absolute crap out of the burglar! Nice. Lol. But back to the romantic drama... Another of my favorite townies is Jonny Zest. When I first started playing this game, he was always the one I would have my sims marry 😆 So, of course, I had Amethyst go after the guy. Lol. Unfortunately, he was not married, so I don't think I did much with him in regards to Amethyst's goals. WELL, one day out of nowhere, the guy shows up to the bar she's at with a different guy, and asks her to marry him 😠When I tell you that it was hard for me to tell him no ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
Look at how sad he is 😠And he's yellow because he's embarrassed she said no 😠I felt so bad! One thing I found interesting is that, like I said, their relationship never really went anywhere. They had some romance bar, but they weren't even partners! So it was crazy that he proposed despite the fact that they weren't even together. I've never had this happen before.
Anyway, here is Kristopher meeting his daughter for the first time. And then I forced him (using a mod) to turn him back to his human form. Lol. That's what he looks like normally.
Despite what a horrible person Amethyst is in general, so far, she's been a pretty good mom. It's shocking, honestly. Lol.
When the romance festival rolls around, she obviously goes. She then asks the Romance Guru some questions about her romance in the future, and THAT 👆 is what she had to say 😠Bleak? Honestly, with the life Amethys has been living, that tracks 😂 I honestly don't see her marrying, ever. And because she's now noncomittal, she doesn't like having romantic partners for long periods of time, so 😬😂
Oh, Kiyoshi is back 🙃 So this Baby Born pop-up is a pop-up you get from sims in different households who have your babies. So tell me WHY Kiyoshi is calling to say that he had Amethyst's baby??? I was SO confused. I got into the family tree, and there's a newborn there! 😠What is happening?! I exit the game immediately without saving because I'm panicking and don't know what's happening.
I then go back in, but this time I go into Kiyoshi's household to see what's happening. Well, friends, he is indeed pregnant. And according to my mod, it IS Amethyst's 😠Now, in normal gameplay, this doesn't happen unless your male sims get abducted by aliens. That's the only way male sims are able to get pregnant. But with the mod I have, male sims ARE able to get pregnant just regularly. HOWEVER, I triple-checked and I have that turned off in my mod, so I honestly have no clue how this happened. 😠I don't even remember these two woohooing, but it's Amethyst, so I'm sure it happened. Lol. With this mod you can end the pregnancy, and I strongly considered it. But as I thought about it more, this is actually the type of chaos and drama I want for this generation, so I left it. The only thing I changed was the sex of the baby to a boy. Lol. I actually did this with her first kid too. Lol. It was supposed to be a boy, but I changed it to a girl. Lol. Anyway, that baby has been born once again at this point. Amethyst hasn't gone to see him yet. I'm gonna have a family reunion for them soon because her parents don't know Carrolina yet, so I thought that would be a good opportunity to invite the other kid over. But honestly, I think I'm going to let Kiyoshi keep the kid through most of infancy. The less I have to play with the glitchy infants, the better 😆 Then Amethys will go and pick up the kid and raise him.
So that's what's happened so far 😮💨 Here is Amethyst having dinner with her first kid, thinking about her life choices... HAHAHA no she's not 😂 I certainly am though ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
Last, the new fairy pack came out on Thursday! I haven't done gameplay with it yet, aside from the random ailments my sims got lol, but I did make these two fairies just for fun! I really love the aesthetic of this pack!
And I finally got to play with the neon polishes I got recently! I feel like they were a bit streaky, but overall, I really love the bright colors.
