Trying To Get Over A 6-Month Reading Slump: Fear Street Edition

If you have seen any of my Mid-Year Check In posts (this one and this one), you know that my reading this year has not been great. And it's been ALL year! So, I'm gonna try something to get out of the slump... I'm gonna attempt to re-read some short books I know I'll enjoy: Fear Street.

Summer-y Fear Street books to be exact, and these 👆 are all the ones I pulled out of my collection. I'm sure there are probably more Summer-y books, but these are the ones that are obviously so. There are over 100 Fear Street books, and while I have read most of them, I don't actually remember which ones take place in the Summer (unless the cover tells me so, apparently 😂). Also, I went on Reddit and asked for some other books people would add to this list, and I got back some non-Fear Street books to add:

I don't own any of these books, so I'm crossing my fingers that my library has them. Not holding my breath though; these are pretty old books. I have read those two R.L. Stine books in the past, and I actually did own them for a minute. But I must've not liked them enough to keep them 😅 And I have read a couple of Richie Tankersley Cusick books and really liked them. I have not, however, read many Christopher Pike books. But I know he's super popular and a lot of people love his books, so we will see.

I've actually already read The Dead Lifeguard, and it was SO fun! Up next, I'm going to read Party Summer. Wish me luck! But so far, so good!
