Top 10 Most Anticipated Books of the Last Half of 2025

There are so many books I am looking forward to reading this year, I just hope my mood decides to cooperate... and soon! 😭 Anyway, here are some of the books I'm excited about that will be released in the last half of 2025.

 

We Won't All Survive (July 29, 2025) is a mystery thriller that sounds very intriguing! Something about a reality competition and death... I'm in! Lol.
Accomplice to the Villain (August 5, 2025) is book 3 in the series and I am honestly hooked! Who would've thought that I would like a romantasy series, but here we are 😂
Too Old For This (August 12, 2025) is another mystery thriller, but this one is about an older adult... who used to be a serial killer 😲 And something happens where she has to protect her secret... by murdering perhaps?? 👀

  

Picking A Touch of Treachery (August 26, 2025) almost feels like cheating because 1.) I have an ARC of this book, and 2.) I am right in the middle of reading it right now 😆 But I'm still looking forward to its release! This is one of my favorite authors, so I always look forward to whatever she releases! But I was really looking forward to this one in particular because we haven't had a new book in this series in a while, so it was nice to get back into it. And now this is my plea to Jennifer Estep to bring back Gin Blanco, too... I miss her! 😭
If Looks Could Kill (September 16, 2025) is this historical book involving Jack the Ripper and Medusa 😲 That's all I know, and all I need to know. Lol.
I Killed the King (September 16, 2025) is a mystery thriller set in a high fantasy world, and that is a subgenre I discovered within the last year or so that I really enjoy! So I'm really looking forward to this one!
I'm not a big romance reader, as you may have noticed lol, but I am ALWAYS down for a cute romance from Lynn Painter! 😍 Fake Skating (September 30, 2025) is her YA romance coming out this year, but I believe an adult romance from her JUST came out not too long ago, too! I can't wait (shockingly 😆)!

  

When I was picking books for this post, I realized that we haven't had a new Ellie Jordan book for almost a year! I love this series, so I'm really looking forward to Robber's Road (October 13, 2025) and seeing what spooky ghosts Ellie and Stacey run into.
Yes, another Jennifer Estep book 🙈😆 Only Rogue Actions (October 14, 2025) is part of her sci-fi/fantasy/romance series, which I obviously love. Lol. I'm thinking that ARCs are probably gonna be going out soon 👀 so I am extra excited about that!
And the last book on my list is The House of Saphir (November 4, 2025). I know Marissa Meyer has had a couple of books released recently, maybe a middle-grade book or two? But this YA book is the one I'm really looking forward to!
