My rating: ★★★★☆

This volume was so stressful! So many bad things happened to both Fabian and Sebastian, and I was not okay 😭 And on top of it all, they still haven't gotten Silvia back.

We did get a little flashback moment about how the trio met, though, and it was just so sweet to see how well they all got along.

Fabian has never been a fan of the vampire inside him—but I have! Since the start of the series, I always thought that the illustrations with the vampire were so cool! But after what happened in this volume, I understand why he's never been a fan.

There were also some other literary references that I won't mention because spoilers, but I loved it! I love this aspect of the series! It was just fun overall.

I thought this was the end of the series, but the story isn't really over. The series is just sort of in this limbo where there hasn't been anything new in years, but the creators had said they would return to it, so 🤷‍♀️ But I liked what I read! It was action-packed, and I liked the mythos and how it included a ton of literary characters. It was just very cool!
