Sunday Post #242: Readathons and Night Shifts

Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week!

What I've been doing:

So I'm gonna be starting night shifts... so that's happening. It's my first time doing night shift so I'm kinda looking forward to it for experience purposes, but kinda not at the same time 😅 Tonight is my first night, so wish me luck! To prepare for my night shift, yesterday I participated in the 24 hour readathon. It was my first time participating and I really enjoyed it! I ended up reading 3 books and I read from 6:30 am to 4 am (the readathon went from 5 am to 5 am my time). It was fun and I'm looking forward to doing it again!

Baking-wise, last week I made oatmeal cookies.

Today before I leave to work in the evening, I'm gonna make some brownies with white chocolate chips! I'm already drooling. Lol.

What I've been watching:

Attack on Titan 3rd Season | Anime-Planet

I've really been enjoying this series! I loved season one, season two was less great, but I hear that season three gets better again, so I'm excited!

Nail art of the week:

Did a blue to purple gradient, buffed in an iridescent chrome powder on top, then I did stamping! It took me forever, but I LOVE the outcome! What can I say, I love complicated nail art 😉

  1. Hope the night shift is going well so far! I would imagine it's exhausting, especially at first. Love the new nails!!!
