Synopsis: The voice mail of Magnus Bane, High Warlock of Brooklyn, in the days following a certain incident in City of Lost Souls.

My rating: ★★★★★

So here is your spoiler warning for things that happened in City of Lost Souls. If you have not read that book yet, avert your eyes!

So Magnus broke up with Alec, which is incredibly sad because I loved them together, but after reading CoLS, it’s totally fair! I can see why Magnus would do that. However, everyone keeps leaving Magnus voicemails, trying to get him to take back Alec. It’s really sad, but also some of the voicemails were hilarious. Take Izzy, for example:

“Isabelle. Let me just follow up by describing what a big mistake you would be making if you broke up with Alec. The Lightwoods are a seriously hot people. Some people say the Herondales used to be hot, but think about it—not only do we outnumber them, but we took their last hottie and we made him ours. Obviously we won the victory.”

🤣 I mean, she’s not wrong. Lol. I love the sass. And Isabelle really goes for it! She blows up his voicemail, trying all sorts of different tactics...

“Look, this is really just a warning for your own good. If you keep Church and Chairman Meow apart, Church will start to get angry. “You wouldn’t like Church when he’s angry.”
Beep

🤣 She’s not the only one who leaves him voicemails, though. A bunch of characters do, including Jace, Clary, and even Simon! Anyway, I really enjoyed this. It was pretty funny, even under the circumstances.
