End of the Year/Vacation TBR
I am going on vacation in a week and the thing I always pack first is my books 😆 Last time I went on vacation I took like 5 books with me and finished exactly ZERO 😂 To be fair, I finished an ebook on the plane, and then I read Dungeon Crawler Carl on and off while over there, but otherwise, I didn't read much. Knowing this, am I still going to pack an inordinate amount of books that will probably not be read? Yes!
Books I want to read before I leave:
So, right now I'm right in the middle of The Hero of Ages, and I am determined to finish it before this weekend is over. Lol. After that, I've got another fantasy (Four Ruined Realms is due back at the library next week, so this works out for me lol), and then a book that sounds like it might be magical realism? I'm not sure. But it sounds good! I would also like to read the new Lynn Painter YA book. However, I don't even have it from the library yet 😆 But I'm number one on the hold list, so it should be any minute now. If I don't get to it before I leave, I'll just read it over there since it's an ebook and I'll be taking my Kindle with me.
Fun Fantasy:
As for when I'm actually on vacation, first, a couple of fantasies. I thought it would be fun to read Carl's Doomsday Scenario over there (in Mexico) since that is where I read that first book, too. Lol. And then two other fun fantasies I have been meaning to read all year. The Nightmare Before Kissmas, I would like to read before I leave, but that might not happen, so I'll just take it with me. It might be nice to read it super close to Christmas anyway.
Holiday Horror:

Next, I've got some horror. Holiday horror books, to be exact. Lol. Silent Night would be a re-read. I love re-reading that book every couple of years. It's one of my favorite Fear Street books!
I overdid it again, didn't I? 😅 Anyway, let me know what you're hoping to read before the year is over!
