The kids and their germs got me 😒 It was only a matter of time before I got sick, but I've literally only been working back at school for like a month! Crazy work! Anyway, I was only going to work three days this week, but I ended up taking the whole week off because I got a cold. And thankfully it was just a cold so I didn't feel too, too bad. The incessant sneezing was annoying, though. Lol. I did spend a lot of time reading and playing video games when I wasn't too awful, so that was actually kinda nice. But I'm feeling better now, so it's back to work tomorrow. Sigh. 😆
I watched the new America's Next Top Model documentary on Netflix! One thing you may not know about me is that I used to LOVE this show so much!! I watched it religiously when I was younger. I don't watch reality TV at all these days because I just... can't. And this documentary reinforced why: the lack of ethics behind some of the things they film... it was vile. I can't believe all this stuff happened on the show! To be fair, I was literally like 12 when I watched it 😂 But looking back on this show with my prefrontal cortex fully developed and through 2026 lenses... BIG yikes!! And then for the producers to not take accountability after all these years because, oh it's just what happened back in those days. Or because it's the fashion industry and that's the way it is. Or because it wasn't their place to say anything 🙄 PUH-lease. Accountability, people! Anyway, I enjoyed it, but it was a frustrating watch, seeing what the girls went through on the show.
I did it, I moved in the rich grandma with the family! Lol. This is the family I use for the rewards events. I believe there is one more week left, but I honestly don't know. Lol.
Anyway, I did this because the family couldn't afford to move into the expensive house I built lol. But I was glad I did because I looked at her life span bar thing and it's glowing and sparkling... you know what that means? That she is aging up that day, aka it's her birthday. BUT she's an elder, and elders don't age up... they die 😠I literally moved her in on the day she's going to DIE ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ Honestly makes the family seem like gold diggers, but I SWEAR I didn't know 😅🤣
At least she got to spend some time with her granddaughter. Lol. She hasn't died YET, but the next time I play, I think she will. Sigh.
I also went back to the save where I was doing a bingo board AND the every lot challenge. For every task I complete on the board, I am able to remove one of the lot challenges. I haven't touched this save in a while, but I've been really wanting to get back to the bingo boards because they are so much fun!
This is what we have so far on the board, and I've actually completed more tasks since I took this screenshot. And this is the sim I'm using, Aria. I'm not gonna lie, I did not remember her name 😂
One thing I did remember about her was that she was DEAD! So why was she suddenly NOT dead when I jumped back into the save?? Look, her urn is right there!! 🤣 Tbh, I don't quite remember what happened, but one of her moms is a Spellcaster and I think I had the mom revive her. Lol. Oh and that ghost is Guidry. He haunts my house every night because of the haunted house lot trait, cause you know, I'm doing to every lot challenge so I had to turn that one on. Lol. But there he is being attacked by bugs, another lot challenge I had to turn on 😂
Two tasks on the board were to break up 3 couples and to convince a sim to divorce their spouse, so one day I had her create all that chaos 😂
Speaking of chaos, the last time I played, her own moms had gotten divorced!! And then they got back together a couple days later 😂 And now one of her moms is calling her saying that she found a ring in her ex-wife's purse... this game is INSANE 😂 Anyway, I said that she should say yes. Lol. And then that same mom called her later to tell her that she wants to become friends with her??? Crazy work, mom 😂
I've played this game a lot, as you may know lol, but I don't think I've ever milked a cow before! I have to milk a rainbow cow, and this cow is obviously not rainbow yet, but I'm working on it! She also has a cowplant and she loves that thing SO much! I was trying to have her paint and she would cancel the interactions so she could go talk to the ghosts haunting her house or come play with the cowplant... like, GIRL. I am trying to get you to complete tasks to get these horrific challenges off your lot!! 🤣 This girl is always afraid or nauseous because of these lot traits/challenges, but she is not helping herself. Lol.
Oh and then I had her go on a date, and while she is on this date, the guy she is on a date WITH calls her to tell her that she should go on a romance competition 🤦♀️😂 Like, dude, if you want to end the date, just tell her to her face 🤣
And last, some Animal Crossing! This week Mira asked to leave! And I let her! I was actually happy, and then I went to see her as she was moving out and she said she was going to miss me and I almost cried. Lol.
It was also Festival on the island which is fun and very colorful...
Except Pave freaks me out 😅
They are too much! 🤣
Anyway, since Mira left I went villager hunting on Nook Miles islands to find someone new to move in, and this chicken tried to pull a fast one on me! They're trying to get on the plane! The audacity! 🤣 I went on over 100 islands looking for two specific villagers I wanted, but I didn't find them, so I ended up taking Julian the unicorn instead!
While I was on all these islands, I took advantage and gathered a bunch of resources... and got stung by wasps. And the cutie Lucky gave me some medicine! He's so sweet! But then the next day he rubbed it in how much I got stung ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ I LOVE him! He is never leaving my island! 😆
I finally played with my new magnetic polishes! It was hard to capture because I'm no photographer lol, but they are so pretty!
