Sunday Post #384: Turning Into Popsicles

Welcome to The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, where I talk about what is going on in life and the blog, and show you all the bookish things I got that week!

What I've been doing:

It's cold over here, y'all. I took this screenshot on Friday (we actually had snow on Thursday and they canceled school on Friday so I got an extra day off of work 😌):

It's insane!! It's currently 5F right now 🙃 You know what I've been doing all weekend? Playing Sims 4 under my heated blanket. Lol. This blanket has been getting a lot of use lately. In fact, I'm using it right now! Here's a little meta moment lol:

I have not stepped foot outside this house all weekend. Although I may have to later on today to run a quick errand 😩 Not looking forward to it. Sigh.

What I've been watching:

So I started watching my first K-drama ever! I love K-horror, but have never delved into the K-drama territory. But My Demon on Netlfix sounded so interesting and I had to watch it! I'm a couple episodes in and so far my thoughts are: this is ridiculous and cheesy... but also I can't stop watching 😆 It just makes me laugh! Plus, I just really like the story!

Aside from that, I'm also caught up on Percy Jackson! Really enjoy the show so far!

What I've been playing:

As for my Sims, for my Alien Takeover Challenge, I have brought back the two dead alien children!!

Growing the death flower was what took the longest, but I finally did it! As for my Super Sim, she finally had the baby! And they're actually aged up to a child already. But this was my Super Sim after giving birth:

Girl, NO! You literally had a baby like 5 Sims hours ago!! 😂 From playing with my alien Sim and her constantly having children to take over the world, I know how difficult it is to raise multiple kids at once so I did not fulfill my Super Sim's wish of another baby at that moment. Lol. She's pregnant now though. Once the Sims age up to children they're a little more independent, so having a new baby won't be as difficult. Lol.
