I don't read a lot of middle grade books—I usually read only one a year. Last year I surprisingly didn't read any, but this year I have read TWO so far! So in honor of that accomplishment lol, I thought I would do this fun tag. I saw it over at Tell Me A Yarn.

April was a pretty chill month. Nothing to exciting to report... up until the end when I finally went on vacation! We were in Mexico City for a couple days and then the rest of the two weeks we spent in Acapulco at the beach. It was SO nice! It had been 3 years since I was last on vacation! I spent most of my time just laying around at the beach, and that was exactly what my mental health needed. I'm not a fan of the humidity, but besides that it was great! I'll leave some photos below you guys can check out!
The reason we even went on this trip was for my cousin's wedding, which was a lot of fun! And that's saying something coming from someone who doesn't like weddings 😂
One of the places we went to was Xochimilco. The water was disgusting, but besides that it was really nice! Plus, we got to see a tiny section of the Island of the Dolls! 😱
And another place we went to was The Basilica of Guadalupe, which was pretty cool too.
And this is the resort we stayed at. It was nice because the beach was literally only a few steps away. AND it was a private beach. I actually didn't spend any time at the pool because there was always a lot of people there, but I was at the beach ALL the time!
While in Acapulco, we saw some people cliff diving, which was nuts! 😨
And we also went on what I call a party boat 😂 It was pretty cool though because it gave us this little tour of Acapulco.
