Synopsis: Living on the edge...

Diane loves sneaking out in the middle of the night. Her friends do, too. They have the town all to themselves. Every night they come up with a new prank to play.

But then Diane’s boyfriend, Lenny, wants revenge on a teacher, and the pranks turn to murder. Now Diane and her friends are in too deep.

We didn't know it. But the Night Games had already begun for us.
And so had the terror.

Right from the start, I knew this was going to be dumb. Why? Because this book was filled with dumb pranks and terrible choices in general. Lol. I didn’t have high hopes for this book, but I was hoping it would surprise me.

But man, these characters were just not great. Lenny was no good, Bryan was pretty terrible too, and even though Spencer was the least worst of them, he did come up with these stupid games in the first place, sooo. Oh and then everyone is pinning for Diane 🙄 Good grief. Oh and not to mention that they were terrible friends! They way they treated each other, especially in the flashback with the snowball fight and then the thing they did... horrible! The person doing these things had a good motive, because all these guys were assholes!

So in these flashbacks we find out that they buried someone in the snow, you know, just for funsies. Well, this person freaking died! And came back for revenge. Lol. And you know how they were able to defeat him? The power of friendship. I’m not even joking, they literally hugged him to death 😂 But then the fact that they were cheering after they defeated him or whatever? Super messed up! They had literally just found out that they had killed him, and now they killed him again! These are terrible people!

So yeah, this was pretty dumb. Lol. But it was fine. I was not expecting the supernatural twist though, and I really enjoyed that!

The Fear Street connection: I don't even think it was mentioned? I'd like to think Spencer lived on Fear Street though.
