I'm a 90s baby so I obviously had to do this tag! I found this one over at a GREAT read.
The author you need every book from.
Definitely Jennifer Estep! I love her writing and I need every single one of her books! ALL of them!
Book that connected you with your best friend.
Oh this one is easy. Back in high school, my friends and I were obsessed with Twilight.
Book that seemed like a good idea, but was actually a monster.
This book had a really cool, interesting concept, but the execution was not great. It was kind of a mess, actually 😬
Book you hated to say Bye, Bye, Bye to.
Not gonna lie, I was more of a Backstreet Boys kinda girl back in the day 😉 Lol. Anyway, I read Malice early this year and I already know it's gonna be a favorite of 2020! It had a really interesting concept, and unlike the last book, the execution was fantastic! I also really loved the characters and the mystery and all the thrills! Unfortunately, this is only a standalone so I had a hard time letting it go. It's such a good book!
A book everyone loved but you hated.
Oh god, I had so many issues with this book. I liked the concept and the world of Roar, but I could not deal with all the toxic masculinity! And I don't understand... am I just being really picky or what? Everyone seems to love this book and I don't know why!
A book that made you wish you died of dysentery.
The "mystery" sucked, the characters sucked and where quite annoying... this was not a book for me.
3 books you recommend to anyone, anywhere, no matter what.
If you have been around here any amount of time, you know that the following three series are some of my most favorite series EVER! I adore anything Shadowhunter related, and the first 3 books of The Mortal Instruments will always have a special place in my heart. Mythos Academy is another of my favorite series! Touch of Frost is what first introduced me to Jennifer Estep's writing, who quickly became one of my favorite authors. And as much as I love Fear Street, they can be hit or miss, but one of the best books in the series is definitely Silent Night. Reva Dalby is a bitch and I love to hate her. Lol.
A book that took FOR FREAKING EVER to read.
I started this book October of 2019... and I'm still not done with it! I started learning Japanese last year and the grammar is tough so I got this book to help me out. It's really helpful but it is literally a textbook and I can only take so much of it at a time. I honestly don't know when I'm gonna finish it, but I'll let you know 😅
That book you see referenced everywhere and is in everything, but that's okay because it's awesome.
Hmm, idk. Harry Potter? I'm gonna level with you, I haven't read it (don't judge me!), but I assume it's great cause everyone loves it? 🤷♀️ Lol.
Book where you peeked just REAL quick at the ending because you don’t like guessing games.
So, I actually don't like doing this cause I love plot twists and being surprised, BUT this Intertwined series just went downhill for me right from the start. Book one was okay but then I didn't like the direction book two went so I decided I wasn't gonna continue the series. But one day I was at the library and came across the third book in the series and my curiosity got the better of me. I read the last chapter of the book because even though I wasn't going to waste my time on this series anymore, I was still super curious to see where the series was gonna go 🤷♀️ But now all that doesn't even matter cause it doesn't look like this book will get a fourth book to wrap things up 😬
Your ideal bookish snack.
It depends what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes it's chips or cookies or a pint of ice cream, and other times it's tea or even just some water.
A book that kept you up all night.
So, books don't usually keep me up at night in the sense that they scared me so bad I can't sleep. Never happens. But the last book I remember that kept me up late cause it was SO GOOD I just couldn't put it down was Cinder! The entire series is just fantastic!
A book that taught you something new.
This book was really interesting! It delved deep into why serial killers do the things they do, and I just found that very fascinating!
I agree that Malice was fabulous and I was sad to let it go. I'd be happy if Dunn writes more books in this world.

Right? It was incredible! But I also feel like it wrapped up nicely. I'll definitely be reading more of her books though!
