My rating: ★★★★★

We start off the volume with the end of Nano’s fight, which was incredible! I loved it! It was so great to see her finally use her zanpakuto.

Oh, and a couple volumes back we saw that Izuru is, in fact, not dead which made me so happy cause I love him! 🥰 Another character I love who is also back is Toshiro!! And he got his bankai back and I am so happy! 😭

Yoruichi and Urahara also pop in in this volume and they seem to have a trick up their sleeve. Hmmm. It’s very interesting.

And it finally happened—Ichigo and Uruyu finally face off.

Honestly, he deserves to be smacked either way for putting us through this 😩😂 But we do find out what the heck is going on and why Uruyu is doing the things he’s doing. And toward the end of the volume we come full circle with just the four original friends in battle: Ichigo, Uruyu, Orihime, and Chad. It was great!
