Synopsis: She thought being a space janitor was chaotic. Now she’s really in for a cleanup.

Triana Moore lost her job as a maintenance technician when her boss discovered her true identity. But decluttering the galaxy isn’t just for janitors. When she visits the ringed planet Grissom with security agent Ty O’Neill for his sister’s wedding, Triana discovers just how messy life can get.

Deported before she can finish her coffee, Triana barely misses an exploding shuttle. But in true space janitor fashion, she decides to investigate. With the help of a pair of mischievous twins, a hard-drinking grandma, and her old frenemy Vanti, will Triana save the wedding?

Of course she will. But how crazy will it get along the way?

The Rings of Grissom tells the continuing story of Triana Moore, (former) Space Janitor, but can be enjoyed by new readers as well. If you want to avoid spoilers, read Triana Moore, Space Janitor first.

My rating: ★★★★☆

I love this world and characters so I was very excited to learn that there was a sequel series to Space Janitor! I was so happy to be back in this world.

In Sweeping S’Ride, we left off with Triana and Ty dirtside, and happily together again. They head to Grissom for his sister’s wedding, but unfortunately for Triana, it’s not long before she finds herself wrapped up in another mystery. Deportation, exploding shuttles... Girl just can't catch a break.

I obviously really enjoyed this. We got to meet and got to know Ty's extensive family. It was just so fun! I especially loved the twins! We also got to see some of Kara's family as well. And these are characters we met in one of the Christmas short stories, so I really liked that too. And we also saw the return of Vanti, who I love! There was this one part where she and Ty had a bet going on to see how long it would take Triana to ask for food. They know her so well. Lol.

I just love the banter between the characters! It's one of my favorite things about both Space Janitor series.

One thing about this book though is that it had a slower start and it took a minute to get to the point of the story. There was also quite a bit of fluff, what with prepping for the wedding and all. I enjoyed it to a certain extent, but you guys know I'm all about the action.

But overall, I really liked this! It was a lot of fun and I just love the characters and their banter. And I love that Triana is always the one who save the day, whether she likes it or not. Lol.
