Synopsis: Cleaning the galaxy, one cruise ship at a time.

When maintenance technician Triana Moore gets temporarily transferred to a passenger liner, she doesn't expect luxury and relaxation. Bot-minding is the same on a station or a ship. But with twelve-hour workdays and five roommates in her cabin, Triana thinks she should have read the employment contract more carefully.

Days into the cruise, her boss, Les, goes missing. Triana dusts off her sleuthing skills to start snooping. Together with a retired Marine Corps dance instructor, a socially inept hospitality intern, and her favorite security agent, she must navigate more than just the solar system. They dodge dance competition divas, reality show cameras, and the occasional wealthy sociopath to search for the missing supervisor.

Will they find Les before she goes dancing through the stars? And will they find time to hit the buffet before all the chocolate strawberries are gone?

My rating: ★★★★☆

I love this series.

I mean, it’s not without its flaws, but I do really enjoy this series overall. This book takes place on a cruise ship that is headed to Sally Ride, and it was just so much fun! Triana, still refusing to be fully pulled into the family business, is on this ship as maintenance. At the beginning of the book, she’s napping in the cargo of SK2 because Kara had a, ahem, visitor. Lol. Unfortunately for Triana, she stumbles upon two frozen bodies here.

Seriously, how and why does this happen to Triana so much? 😂

I loved the setting on this space cruise ship and I liked the weird dance competition that was going on... Dancing in the Stars... get it?

While Triana NOPED right out of being roped into the competition, Ty actually joined it! And, yes, of course Ty is on the ship as well. But he is on the ship as a guest. But anyway, this competition isn’t just a competition, it’s a reality show! 😂 I can’t with this book... it was great!

This mystery with the frozen dead bodies was interesting. I mean, Triana kept tripping over one frozen body or another all over the place. Lol. And it turns out that some pretty dark stuff was going on 😬 I wasn't expecting it, but I welcomed it. Lol.

And of course, I loved the characters. We met a bunch of new characters in this book—Triana’s coworkers and roommates, and some of them were pretty fun. And ever since the first book I’ve loved Triana and her sassy personality, but also her resourcefulness and how down to earth she is despite her upbringing. And Ty is just 😍 He’s really charming and caring and I just love him. But I definitely needed more Ty/Triana alone time.

I really enjoyed this book! I really appreciate that there are recaps for what happened in previous books, which is always helpful. And the banter between the characters is always a fun time! And the ending with the dancing and the dodging of bad guys... good stuff. Lol. I do admit that the climax was anticlimactic, which seems to happen in every book, but it did have good action leading up to it. But overall, I’m loving this series!
