This was another rough reading month. Though not as bad as last month 😅 This month, I read a total of 4 books, which was about 916 pages. That's about 237 MORE pages than last month! So not too bad, but still pretty bad 😂
- 1 was a full-length novel, and 3 were manga
- 3 were part of a series, and 1 was a standalone
- No series were started or finished this month lol
- All 4 were finished copies
- All 4 were physical books
- All 4 were 4-star reads
- All 4 were traditionally published
- All 4 were by authors I've previously read
- 1 was an adult book, 3 were YA
- 1 was a mystery thriller, and 3 were action
Books read this month:
And the only thing keeping me from a full-blown reading slump was, of course, manga 😂 I'm obviously really enjoying this one. This arc focused on the characters trying to get into assassin school to get info on the people who are after them. It was really fun! And If Something Happens To Me was a mystery thriller, and I really enjoyed it! There was this plot twist at the end of part 1 that I was not expecting, and I loved that! It was a solid read overall.
Favorite book of the month:
It's hard to pick seeing as how I gave them all 4 stars 😂
Least favorite book of the month:
None! They were all good!

I never remember to do a favorite pick of the month, maybe I'll remember for July? lol, that might help me with end of the year picks if I did that. You got a lot of time with your Sims and I remember how that kept me from reading back in the day as well. Hope you have a better reading month in July!

The only reason I remember to pick one is because I have a template for this post where it prompts me to pick a favorite lol. Otherwise I would forget 😂
DeleteI'm not a fan of Manga, but the Alex Findlay book sounds good! It's nice to have a genre that helps you pull out of a slump.
ReplyDeleteI love manga! They are such an easy, fun read. It's exactly what my slump needs.
DeleteI average about 4 books a month. So it sounds about right to me. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha it's really not that bad, I'm just being dramatic... as per usual 😆
