I didn't love this book. I also didn't hate it, but it was just more of the same. Listen, I love me a slow burn romance, but when we're three books in and they're still not together... just, no. That is insane. I also found this one to be quite predictable, and for some reason, I wasn't as into the story. Idk. This was just not great. It felt dragged out. I kept thinking about what I was going to rate this one, and I think I'm going to land on a 3.5. Which sucks because I gave the first two books 5 stars. I really hate when this happens in a series 😩
On the other hand, I started this book and it made me immediately happy. There's just something so cute and fun about Lynn Painter's writing. This is gonna be a good one. I can feel it.
I'm finally going to be starting this one next! I'm so excited!!
