Books read this month:
I started off with what may be my one romance book of the year 😆 And it was good! I love Lynn Painter! I just don't read a lot of romance, but when I find a good one, it's always a great time! Next, I started a new manga series and I freaking loved it! It was action-packed and ridiculous! My favorite combo 😆 And then I read another manga by a new-to-me author: Junji Ito! He has been on my radar for a long time, but I just haven't read his books until now! It was as creepy and horrifying as I thought it would be... but more gross and weird than I was expecting 😂
And then I read the second Dungeon Crawler Carl book, and it was a blast! Nothing but chaos and action and just ridiculousness! I love it! After, I read another Brandon Sanderson book and I freaking loved it! 😠The worldbuilding, magic system, political intrigue, and all the characters were just SO good! And then this morning, I finished off the month with one last Sakamoto Days manga. It was action-packed! I love it!
Favorite book of the month:
Easily this one!! People around one of the main characters, Siri, kept telling her that things weren't what they seemed, and boy, were they right!! So many twists and turns and surprising things I was not expecting to happen in this book. It was great!
Least favorite book of the month:
I didn't hate this book, let me start off by saying. Lol. I gave it 3.5 stars because while I liked all the horrifying illustrations, the stories were sometimes... really weird. Which isn't a bad thing, but I just don't know if it was my kind of weird, you know?
