My patient started school this past week and she was supposed to have a school nurse with her. The school district is so awful that the nurse freaking quit. So now it's back to me taking her to school and you know what, not a fan. It was stressful. And I very much dislike the district. Her teachers are SO freaking nice. I love them! They are never the issue. It is always administration. Sigh. Anyway, Monday is a federal holiday so I'm taking the day off. Next Friday, they also don't have school, so I'm gonna try and take that day off too. It'll be nice to take a couple extra days off.
I'm still watching Law & Order, and then yesterday I got back into watching Lucifer. Oh! And some of my other shows are back: 911, the other 911 (Lol. I forget what it's called because I don't love it as much as the original, but I'm basically only watching it for the eye candy 😏😂), and The Rookie. The Pitt is also back, but I think I'm gonna wait till it's all out so I can binge watch it like I did the first season. Lol.
I have been playing my Super Sim save, and yesterday things took a very interesting turn...
First, Laurel is Lacey's mom. She was this very important businesswoman when I moved out my Super Sim. Well, she calls my Sim to ask if she should change her job. I was like, eh you can do whatever you want. She ended up switching her job and she now works at a fast food place 😭🤣 That is wild! Lol. Maybe she's having a midlife crisis. She's an elder, immortal Spellcaster, so idk 😂 And then in the second screenshot above, my Super Sim was minding her business, when a fairy (who is also her friend) went and drained her emotions out of nowhere! I thought this was funny. Lol.
One thing I had her work on a week ago is all the residential rental stuff. She rented out a couple of places, and these are two of her tenants that I thought were pretty cool. Sometimes Sims spawned by the game aren't that bad. Lol. (Ignore my Sim being super mad in the first screenshot above. I don't remember what her problem was, but it was unrelated to meeting the tenant 😂)
Another thing I had her work on was the robotics skill! And she made Iron Man suit! How cool! Right now I'm having her work on making a Servo, but that will take a while. And now for the plot twist...
She's pregnant 😭 This pregnancy was unplanned. Let me tell you what happened: I have the MCCC mod that just helps with a lot of cheats. It was a lot of different settings and one of the settings is risky woohoo. Sims don't get pregnant unless you pick Try for Baby. Woohoo never results in pregnancy. BUT with this mod, you can set risky woohoo to a certain percentage and your Sim will run the risk of getting pregnant when they just reagular woohoo. Well, I have my risky woohoo setting at 1%. ONE. And she's pregnant 😭 I was not ready for this 😅 But I have the setting on for a reason, so I'm going to embrace the chaos. Lol.
So the next thing I did is I went and had her tell her fiancé about the baby...
And then I had them elope on the beach and move in together! The reason why I hadn't done any of this earlier is because I really enjoy playing with just one Sim. But now I'm gonna have 3 really soon 😅 It's gonna be fiiiiine. Also, I'm very curious to see what the baby will be, seeing as how dad is a vampire, but mom is a regular Sim. In their past lives, they had like 4 kids, and they were all just regular Sims. But then I turned my Super Sim into a Spellcaster and their next batch of kids, two of them were Spellcasters and one was a vampire. So it's going to be interesting!
In other news, ACNH HAD AN UPDATE for the first time in, like, 5 years 😭 They always turn up when I need them most 🥲 The big thing this free update included was a hotel!!
There's a bunch of new stuff, and I'm still discovering it all. I did decorate one hotel room so far. It's very similar to the Happy Home Paradise DLC we got a while back. But now there are visiting villagers roaming your island, and it is SO freaking cute!

And here is a screenshot of Tom Nook being the lying liar he is, because what does he mean WE developed this island TOGETHER. It's been all me!! All he does is take my money! 🤣 Anyway, I've been having a lot of fun playing this game again.

Another rare Fear Street book to add to my collection, yay! This one is a little damaged--the cover is a bit bent, but otherwise it's in good condition! I don't mind too, too much when it comes to these particular books because they are SO hard to find so I can't be that picky.
