Synopsis: IT’S PLAYTIME!

Rita is Convict No. 999, a former legendary assassin who now works at a kindergarten for the children of the world’s most powerful people. Her job is to protect the kids from the clutches of would-be kidnappers and contract killers. But even with her overwhelming strength, Rita has one fatal flaw―she falls head over heels for good-looking men, even if they’re her enemies! Can she find the hottie soulmate of her dreams amid the chaos at the “world’s safest kindergarten”?

My rating: ★★★★★

I don't even remember how I found out about this manga, but I'm glad I did because I freaking loved it!

The thing that caught my attention about this series was the premise of former assassins working at a kindergarten to protect the kids of the rich and powerful. But it's more than that:

And the action was so good! We all know how much I enjoy a book with good action sequences.

What I was not expecting was how absolutely ridiculous this was... And I loved every second of it! 😆 Our main girl Rita, the assassin, may be amazing when it comes to killing (she really is), but she is also an absolute airhead who just wants to find some love. The things she did were absurd, and I loved her for it!

It is especially funny because her coworker Doug, whom I liked, is right there! You know that "he falls first" trope? Yup.

I really loved this! I liked the action, how absurdly funny it was, and I liked the characters we were introduced to. I also really enjoyed the art style, especially the hilarious character reactions. Lol. This volume ends in a cliffhanger as an explosion happens... Ah! So I am very much looking forward to reading volume 2!

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a link to your review or comment below! 😊
